This piece is still one of my favorites to play on the piano. Really love the arrangement, it can be a challenge to learn, but gives me more practice for my left hand! :D
NieR has the greatest OST I've ever encountered in any video game. Not only do the song themselves draw out your emotions with little effort, but match perfectly with the story and scenarios...easily my favourite game on 360 despite all the mostly negative reviews =)

A lot of people think that a tutorial has to be slow. But really to get a better feeling for the songs true tempo well u have to hear... the songs true tempo. For some songs that are fast, a regular speed would not be a tutorial, but for this one, just pausing and looking at which notes are coming is easy enough. But that's just me. Idk

What kind of non-midi file? Remember, MIDI is _not_ an audio format. MP3 and WAV and the like represent an arbitrary waveform of a sound, whereas midi represents notes and instruments. The sound of a midi file is then produced procedurally from these notes, and depending on software, can sound different. You need a midi or something that can be converted to it to use Synesthesia. There's nothing I know of that converts audio to MIDI, and writing something that does would be very, very difficult.
