next time remove mud guard from behind the driver front tire by removing the plastic clips. then above the hood latch wire is a rubber cover for easy access through the fire wall. then inside the car under the steering wheel follow the hood latch wire and then slightly to the left of that wire you would be able to feed your wire through with ease. thank you for letting me know were the extra red wire went couldn't figure it out and didn't have a digital volt meter. thanks and home that info helps for you next project.
Manuel Diaz thank you for this information! My girl friend had a 2016 versa note and maybe I can add Fog lights to that. I tried to go from above to that grommet under the steering but was difficult to achieve it
I have a 2016 Nissan Versa note. I ran my wires and mounted my fog lights. Do u know what fuse I can tap in?
Hi I would just like to say I enjoyed your video it was very educational I install the same type of lights on my Nissan versa but what I did was I hardwired I connected the lights to my parking lights so when I turn on the parking lights they come on I Have not had any problems
Probably the best way to route that wire inside is to remove the drivers side fender, run the wires alongside the factory wiring harness for the headlights and into the same hole coverd by a rubber connector..try your best maybe use some silicone lube or spray to get the wire to push through with the factory harness into the rubber and then you wouldn’t have this clearly aftermarket random wire going through your engine bay
Tommy V yes I would’ve preferred to go through the firewall but it’s a tight fit and I had 0 help to be able to snake it through the rubber grommet under the steering column
I just did this install on a 2013 versa note and all i used was a wire hanger straightened out and pushed it through the gromet that the hood latch travels through and went from there back to the engine bay an voila oem look.
Thank you, very helpful, last time I did one on a versa was a 2009, still had the wire harness for aftermarket lights, but I did it the way the kit told me!
I think the reason of the gap is because you attached the light on the back of the bumper instead the front?
Hey you put the wrong link in the beginning of hte video to the taking off the front bumper video. The link just comes back to this same video.
I’ll look and see if I can change it didn’t notice that. Thanks!
To all concerned if you have pre existing wire ,Just need to change light switch on the column.4 screws remove covers change switch.DIY no biggie 🤐
You never make a video for how to run the wires in to the car for plug in on the switch
Juan Perez I just showed that I ran it from inside the fender into the car and took apart the bottom cover of the dash to remove the blank space and put the button in the car.
Thank you i have 2016.i think try hook mine to my park lights.kept up video .great job..
Thank you and yes with parking lights it’s just less wiring. In the comments some others say how to get to the grommet under the steering wheel
I'll use this one. Thank you!
This might be a stupid question, but im new to car ownership.
I have headlights.
And i have high beams.
Why would i need a third set of lights?
I know, clues in the name.
My current lights work fine in fog.
So my question stands.
It’s meant to help you out when visibility isnt the best in fog, rain, and such other weather issues. It’s basically to help you see the road better. It’s not necessary but if you live in a place that has lots of fog it helps out a lot
I'm sarmad from iraq I like your working I will do for my car
sarmad ali thank you! And yes you can do the same
Eh bro, what about the factory wires that are already "waiting" for user upgrade nonFogLamps to FogLamps"...?
Leonardo Arturo Meza Hernandez I haven’t seen any prewiring for my car maybe you might have the S+ or SL model that comes with it but in my case I do not.
Thx
I have a 2019 versa will the ones you got work?
How to adjust the aim?
Disculpa amigo yo tengo un problema con las luces están muy altas como las regulo..? Espero me puedas ayudar
Thank for your. video tutorial,
Hello, which wire did you do the fuse tap with? Wires near the switch or after the relay?
I believe it was at the fuse box that works with the switch
Is really necessary removing the bumper?
If you take out the splash guard you may have enough space but to do it properly it be best to remove it
Thank you!
It’s a 2019 Not a 2015 Nissan versa
If you are referring to the car in the video it was a 2015 versa
Bro how to get the wiring into the dashboard? Which rubber gromet or hole did you use? Thanks
I wired through the fender since I wasn’t too concerned. But underneath the steering rack/column. There’s a gromet you can use.
Do you have a vedio on how you do the wiring sir?
Sadly no as I just showed in this video where it was all routed. People in the comments said to just take off the wheel well liner and should give you better access for the grommet under the steering wheel. Also if you don’t want your wire in the front of the fuse box then take off the 2 bolts it’s has to turn it around.
Why are the lights yellow, should be bright white
Halogens they are warm white. Which has a slight yellow hue to help contrast the roads
Hey bro I just want to ask only.you direct to battery the fog lamp
Yes it was direct to the battery as it came with a relay that goes into the cabin to add a button for it
@@adrianmejia3302 so no wire it will goes to ignition switch
There’s a button that should’ve came with the kit that has 3 wires. One to the battery one to ground, and the other to the lights. But if you want to connect it to the ignition you can. Probably wiser since you could forget to turn it off. Lol
@@adrianmejia3302 thanks bro for the nice Info.
Wayyyy much easier adding fogs to the Note!
Automotive 101 I made this more complicated that it really is. Just wanted to make a video on how to remove the front bumper since there wasn’t any out there’s but easily could’ve just pull the of the fog covers and installed the Fog lights with the bumper attached
Versa Note Depot what fuse did u tap on your versa note? I have a 2016 Nissan Versa note. I’m in stalling right now.
@@michellefinn9001 I'm using a remote control kit which is way easier to install. I can make a quick video and upload it to my channel.
Versa Note Depot yes Upload video please
@@michellefinn9001 no problem I'll do it this afternoon.
You didn't mention where you bought the fog lights. You also never put the link on how to remove the front bumper.
www.protuninglab.com/fl-nv2015-c.html
The video was the one before I made this one. And the link is in the description for the fog lights
@@adrianmejia3302 My Versa is a 2014, and the fog light area is different than yours. Mine are circle and pop out round, not slanted like the ones you have. Thanks anyways.
mywickedness there should be some on amazon and protuning since the manufacturer is Spec D
whats the name of those jacks on the wire?

How to install wiring of the fog lamps in my 2018 Nissan almera?
BOGS ROGAN DEO I ran wiring straight into the main cabin and added the switch where OEM switch would be. If you can make it through the firewall it would be best. I ran min through my fender
Around the door? Come on guyyy….
I was not able to get it through the grommet that day.
