They usually make hispanic or latino characters speak random Spanish words and go over the top in the customs making the characters stereotypes. I wouldn’t have minded a few more nods, but I prefer it if the character’s ethnicity isn’t the main characteristic pushed on people. Also, seeing as Tori and Trina are in the US and their dad is the hispanic/latino one, it makes sense that they wouldn’t be immersed in their culture. I don’t know what ethnicity their dad is, probably Puerto Rican, but from what I’ve seen, men tend to not want to teach their children their culture.

Unpopular opinion: Andre should’ve been Tori’s love interest. He had the perfect setup for them to build an organic and healthy relationship between the two, unlike Beck and Tori.
André is such an epic character. Extremely musically talented, very chill, hilarious, and is the kind of character everyone gets along with. Definitely my favorite in Victorious.
Why isn't Andre talked about more? He's the best character in that show even tho I barely watched it. He's the only character I could stand, as well as Sikowits, Jade and Cat and occasionally Tori and Sinjin. Everyone else I just hated.

She's the one that consoled Andre when he got a D on his Christmas song at the beginning of the episode. She constantly told him how much of an amazing musician he is. Where was she taking credit for his songs? The first episode where Andre was the one that pushed her to perform it? The birth week song where Andre volunteered to help Tori write it? The song he wrote for jade where tori volunteered to help him sing it because Andre was not okay emotionally and he accepted? The Christmas song which she performed to get him an A and recognition? The only song that I can see Tori stole was the one they wrote for kojeezy and that wasn't done intentionally. She admitted she stole it and helped him finish writing it afterwards when Andre was having a hard time. They were good friends because they supported each other.

Whenever Andre and Tori had a scene together, it was so much easier to watch, compared to a scene solely focused on Tori. In my opinion, they should've been a couple. Tbh it would've happened if they were both White or both Black. It was Nickelodeon in the early 2010s so makes sense. If they were to ever bring Victorious back for a revival like they did with iCarly, they better pair them up! Andre x Jade is good too.
