I bought 2 “Little Fiddle Figs” a few months ago, they are not so little now. Their adjustment went well when I brought them home and into the stages of moving them into a northwest exposure curtained bay window, and they have absolutely blossomed.. to the point of where one is going to have to be a floor plant soon! I would recommend one but light and some direct light is necessary!
I chuckle everytime you say how much you hate your Croton and Diffenbachia. All of by plants thrive on neglect and both of these do extremely well for me. I will give you, the Croton and Spider mites, but my apartment is pretty dry in the winter. Aside from that, no problems at all.
I often find alocasia pollys to be such diva plants! One think I’ve found with the crotons is to keep the soil relatively moist. I had a plant drop every leaf last year until it was just a stem until I repotted it and kept the soil more moist than I had at first. It’s grow tremendously over the summer and pushed off new growth!
Great video! I avoid most of these, but my fiddle leaf fig loves life in my dry home (35-40%) in a SW facing window and I have moved it around my house. My string of pearls are pulled back from a South facing window is good, but a slow grower. My peacock plant just bit the dust.....I’m battling with homealoma Selby just soooo temperamental!!
After 8 years of owning, I threw out my petite and regular peace lilies. If the top leaves are getting low light....all the leaves under are getting no light. The pollen causes my indoor pollen allergies.
You're just too handsome. 🥰 This was great.
Loving the *pause after “Mariah Carey’s of the bunch” 😅😅😅

I must be a glutton for punishment. I have most of these in my home. Dumb canes love my house. I had one, it’s turned into about 30 by now. 😂
Say no more, staying away from these haha! I'd love to see a video and info on your grow light set up!
Will do, thanks!!
This was so funny 😂
And that reminds me why I don’t own any of these... GREAT VIDEO!
I would add begonias to this list. I've killed several over the years. They hate me! LoL
Hi just started watching your videos very informative I would add African Violets to the list🤯

I am however doing okay with my button and maiden hair ferns. I’ve found them to be hardy, I cut them back after dying off but they still revived!
the only ones that you were talking about that I have is the ferns. the rest I've had and will not try again or not interested in
I agree with your list but some fittonia are not so diva. And I would add begonia in the list

👍
string of bananas i just can't keep alive!
I hear you. Most senecio’s (string of pearls, etc) are fickle
