The road has not been easy for "Dance Mom's" star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. But if anything, Abby has proven she is a fighter and is not ready to hang up the dance shoes. The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most...teaching students to dance! With the goal of putting her life, health and dance studio back together, Abby returns to where it all began - the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh.

i love how supportive the moms are of nia in the trio with chloe and maddie. neither kelly nor paige complained that it should be paige in there and it just shows how little opportunities nia was given and so everyone is happy for her

I wish Mackenzie was given the same level dances as the other girls. Abby always would say that she needed to be more like Maddie but never gave her the level of dances Maddie was given when she was that age. All of Kenzie’s dances were always were childish in my opinion while Maddie was given very mature dances and choreography when she was the same age

Honestly I think it's so icky how Abby set Brooke up on multiple dates without even getting her consent. I don't care how much you want the dance to work out, forcing a 14 year old to go on a date with a boy when you could *tell* that the connection just wasn't there is weird. Also, a dance teacher simply shouldn't meddle in a 14 year old's dating life. If the connection isn't there, then it's not there. Find someone else.
It's not like she was trying to get them to date, become boyfriend and girlfriend and eventually get married. She wanted them to form a connection and get comfortable with each other so that the story comes across in the dance. That can only better their dancing, storytelling, and social skills for their dance career, even in the long run. There is literally nothing wrong with that.

I didn't see anything indicating that she did anything illegal or forced or coerced anyone into doing something they didn't want to do. Did she make some inappropriate comments? Yes. But some of those could have been taken out of context so without proof of illegal action or coercion, she hasn't done anything wrong at all.

Jojo and Kendall would get so many solos week after week and they wouldn't even win first or second place but somehow Nia would get a solo once every 5 episodes it's so stupid how badly they treated Nia when Jojo and Kendall would get solo after solo just to not place top 3

Yeah, that was a weird idea. But I think they were more likely just frustrated with Abby's lackluster choreo.

Mackenzie won her solo. The producers staged an small awards for drama to make it look like kenzie did not place.

I've only seen clips of this show on RUclips so I barely know who Brooke is but every clip, she's always just chilling out, eating from cereal when her age is called into question or unphased as Abby suggests she's failed in life ("Look at Brooke!") and watching her uninterested in the date made me laugh. Considering how often Abby makes girls cry, it's funny to watch a dancer who is just apathetic.

Straight escape went from a non-placement to a perfect score . I guess Abby’s right , it’s not about the choreography but it’s what you do with it & what you make it look like that makes you win
and the different choreo, the costume change, the music change, the fact that it was competed in LA for Jojo and Pitts for Lily, and the judging done by kids vs adults.. but sure
@@lailacds the choreo for Lilly is harder because she was capable of doing more than jojo was at her age . Even if jojo got a higher score than lilly you could see that Lilly’s performance was clearly better , you can see her passion for dance and acting unlike in jojos performance . Jojo is just not meant for dark contemporary and technique dances .

nia wasn't a bad dancer, she was just a little slower than the other girls which isn't bad. some girls are in sync when they dance. and nia, chloe and maddie weren't in sync at all. nia just needed someone who was on her level and speed
I think sending Brooke and Brandon on a date to bring back the chemistry between them was a bad idea and only made it worse. They liked each other before from just dancing together. I think the chemistry would have came back without the date. Look at the way Brooke’s face lit up when Abby revealed Brandon’s picture on the pyramid. Abby and the moms made it awkward.
