Thank you so much for this instructional. I was on holiday abroad and this happened to mine, lucky the cable had just slipped the trigger catch rather than breaking, but your video was invaluable to helping me fix it
Hi, I keep watching your videos and I learned a lot about the pram. Can you please also make a video on how to fix bugaboo lynx folding mechanism. My pram is really hard to fold. Especially the push down white button. 😮💨😢 Thank you in advance 😊
Very helpful video! I used it to understand how to open my Donkey up, cuse I had a different problem. One of the ”shark fins” hade fallen of, i welded them toghter with fire 😂 now it works perfectly!
Hi! We just bought a second hand buffalo (following your recommendation! 🙏🏼) that's been used quite little. Everything looks great (followed your user guide for buying 2nd hand buffalo 🙏🏼) but I'm struggling with the trigger mechanism (the white part). They're just SO hard to pull up!!! Am I weak or is there something wrong with the stroller? My husband manages to do it (though he admits it's not as easy as it looks like on RUclips videos). Are you familiar with this issue and is there a solution? Thanks a lot for your channel!!
I have the same issue, the triggers are so hard to pull up and now I'm afraid I'll break the inside cable! I've been looking for answers...have only came across this video and it's not really addressing my problem.
Hi I have this trouble on my bee also. I have two chassis’s as I got a second hand one to replace but it has also broken. I can’t get the handle apart as it’s welded together. BUT you can screw off a panel at the locking point of the pram near the seat connection and use a screw driver or Similar to push the locking triangle out of the way. It isn’t ideal but I don’t need to fold my pram often and it’s enough for me to still use it. I then had to prey my plastics relies sliding button off and remove half the broken wire but it can now be folded. Hope this helps
Bloody awesome mate. i have been having trouble with my bugaboo runner frame being a bit wobbly. So i'll find those bolts that you mentioned keeping regularly tightened and see if that helps. Also the folding trigger on my bugaboo runner is very stiff, and has progressively gotten worse over the last few months.. any ideas how to service that trigger button?
Just used this video to reattach the wire to the central locking mechanism. Didnt have to use the replacement button in purchased from Shapesways because the original was still was still attached to the wire.
Hello! Do you have a clue how to do the same but on FOX? It seems like there is a bit different construction and I can't find any information how to open up.
I have the opposite problem, in that when I push too hard on the handle, one side collapses and the folding mechanism is activating by itself. I have replaced the spring from a spare donkey frame I have and it didn't make a difference. I feel like the cable might be too loose? Do you have a video addressing this problem please? Thank you
@@BarnevognverkstedNo Hi, thanks for replying. The left side handle just collapses with too much pressure. I feel like the cable might be loose? Or could it be another issue?
@@swtsxcqtpie1 it was my sister’s pram and she took it to a pram repairer who fixed it easily and cheaply. We are in Melbourne. If you’re local I can find out the details.
Hello, mine has black button on the left fording trigger only which is the one that it feels like stuck with limited movement and now unlocking from the left side is not possible. while i'm trying to unlock it using the trigger I can hear turning noise in the disc, can this be that only needs alignment in the disk or for sure talking for a broken part?
I haven't done any yet, unfortunately, but the process is quite similar (the trigger itself is fitted more or less the same). It's a little harder though, since the handle is a single piece. I'll make a video, next time I get one into the workshop :)
@@BarnevognverkstedNo I guess is quite similar but the thing is that the Bee 3 have rivets instead of screws so it makes it trickier. thanks for your answer
Hi, genuine question how easy is it to get parts for? I'm looking at one in my local area but the currently owner has said the handle is broken causing it not to be able to fold down on one side? also it needs a completely new bumper bar I can't seem to find just the metal bar it's self as a replacement I'm in the UK any suggestions please?
You're pretty much bound to the used market unfortunately, though there are a few places to try: 1) Bugaboo sells a few spare parts (such as the handle height adjustment clips). 2) you can check out a guy who goes by 'thebugaboorepairguy' on facebook who sells 3d-printed parts on shapeways, and 3) since you're in the UK, you can contact Buggy Pitstop and see if they have the parts to help you, I'm pretty sure they repair Bugaboo. :)
No, unfortunately. It should be doable, but I have yet to figure out an easy way to open up this mechanism on the Fox without doing serious cosmetic damage to the plastic. If you are not so worried about scratching up the plastic and figure it out yourself, please let me know where the locking-pegs are. :)
I tend not to get this problem in on Bees, but in principle it's the same fix, though there's probably some variation in how you access the parts. I'll check and put up a video next time I get one into the workshop. :)
If it works sometimes, then it might just be a lubrication issue. Try spraying some WD-40 around the trigger so it can run down into the mechanism. If this doesn't work, then you probably have to open it up, unfortunately, and have a look :)
@@BarnevognverkstedNo I have a brand new Bugaboo Donkey 3 and it seems to have this issue too - is it common to need to add lubrication right out of the box? It just feels so difficult to push the buttons in to fold it, but then it always finally works after fiddling with it a bit. I was wondering if maybe my fingers are just not strong enough....
It's not possible to purchase the original cable new unfortunately, but I would try a bicycle workshop and see if they can make one for you, just bring the old wire.
My Wire also broke. I would say this is a design fault that the wire is rubbing against the aluminum frame and eventually breaks. Will try to claim this as a warranty claim and hopefully Bugaboo accepts the claim.
Thank you so much! Saved a lot of time and money for us 😁💪 This dude certainly knows what he is doing 😎

Does anybody know where it is possible to get a trigger?
Id also like to know as well where to. Buy the trigger button thanks

In which way is it collapsing? is it the handle folding or is it the front and back wheel frames folding in towards (or out from) each other, or both?
