Yep, they do sell the OG PS5 bundle (as seen in the video), and they’re going to keep selling those alongside the PS5 Slim, and once the OG PS5 stock runs out, the PS5 Slim becomes the primary PS5. As for a digital copy of Spider-Man 2, it’s not the first time I’ve seen any company bundle a console with a digital copy of the game, though I think a physical copy would be good for those who live in areas with poor (or no) internet.
I usually get physical games too, but I couldn’t resist the opportunity to get a free copy of Spider-Man 2. So far, I’ve played Astro’s Playroom, which is installed on every PS5, and am really liking it
Just got this console bundle from a great Walmart deal. Loving it so far. I just couldn’t resist getting Spider-Man 2 for free even though I wanted to get a physical copy but I’m beyond happy.
Awesome! Unfortunately, the bundles I’ve seen like that only come with the digital version of the game, but I think having a physical copy would be nice especially in areas with poor or no WiFi
I've got some time in with Astro's Playroom, pretty fun. I'm looking forward to starting Spider-Man 2 (I'm about halfway through Miles Morales and want to finish that before I start Spider-Man 2), especially with some new characters whose names I won't mention so as to not spoil the game.
awsome review :) love the older ps5 but its to dam big finding a nice place for it to be is hard maby sit on the ground or maby a shelf but oh man that shelf has to have a large space or u will have to lay it down love Spider-man 2 artwork all over the box but wish i could get the game Physical makes it hard for me to choose thinking at this point maby i look for a brand new OG ps5 no game incuded and buy the Disk verson of the spider-man 2 but its hard to find theses days
With the older PS5, you can sit it horizontally (the vertical stand also functions as a horizontal stand). If you were to set it on a shelf, I don’t know if it would fit. A lot of bundles just throw in a digital copy of the game so then you can redeem the code, which is good for people who have a good internet connection. I think that bundle was a good deal because getting an OG PS5 without a game, then buying a physical copy of Spider-Man 2 afterward would be more expensive. I’m not saying don’t do it, but that from a financial perspective you would be spending at least US$70 more. Also, not surprised to see that disc versions are hard to find these days, demand was high, and it’s a great sequel to a great game.
With regard to the physical copy, it's totally understandable...plus you don't have to redeem a code through the PlayStation Store to get the game. If I got the PS5 without any additional games, I probably would have gotten the physical copy, but I thought getting it bundled with the console at no extra cost was a good deal, which is why I have a digital copy of the game and not a physical copy.
I didn’t want the Call of Duty MW3 bundle, which you only get the slim with that. That’s part one, and I think most people will understand why I would rather have Spider-Man 2 than COD MW3. Part two is availability. I was hoping to get the slim so I could make videos about the detachable disc drive, but when I went to order it, they didn’t have any slim models in stock, so I just settled with the older one.
@@FanaticGuide they have a slim model that comes with Spider-Man as well. I had the original model before, I think it looks more premium, haven’t heard there’s much of a difference or any difference on power. That’s why I was curious. But there is a slim model that comes with Spider-Man as well though.
@tdrew337 and that (PS5 Slim with Spider-Man 2 bundle) is the one I wanted. I do think the slim model looks more premium, especially with the vertical stand (I wish that were still included). I agree, I heard there’s little to no difference between the two in terms of power. As far as the design goes, the disc drive area does look like an afterthought, even though I do understand why they did it, but it didn’t influence my buying decision.
just asking how muh does this bundle cost? also can you estimate how much this would cost on black friday 2024 if this bundle is still on sale then? thanks
It only cost me $500 USD (the price of a console without any games), and that’s what I’m seeing a lot of these bundles going for. As for how much it will cost on Black Friday 2024, all the new PS5 stock will be the PS5 Slim, not the OG PS5 that was shown in the video, but that won’t affect the price for the disc version. Both the OG PS5 and PS5 Slim have been bundled with Spider-Man 2 at $500 USD, but as far as what I would expect it to cost, I would say at least $500 before any discounts (if there are any discounts).
I got the one that comes with the game. It would be nice to have an extra controller though. In my opinion, it really depends on what you want bundled with your console, an extra controller, or a game.
You can get a physical copy of the game (and it would of course have a disc), though if you got the game bundled with a console, you would only get the digital copy with the code that you have to redeem through the PlayStation Store
You can play the whole PS5 library and the majority of PS4 games. The PSVR also works with the PS5 if you're interested in using that. However, the PS5 isn't compatible with PS3, PS2, or PS1 games, though a handful of PS1, PS2, PSP, and PS3 games are available to play on PS4 or PS5 if you have PS Plus Premium.
Wasn’t planning to, was mainly going to use it for content, but now that I think about it, I might start a giveaway for something, don’t know what yet…
They still selling the OG PS5 bundle. I wish the bundle came with the physical copy of spider man.

Congratulations for your PS5. The standard edition is what I prefer since physical games are what I'm consistent of. Enjoy your brand new console.

You can buy the extra suits as DLC

Awesome! The free Spider-Man 2 in my opinion was the best part about it.
@@FanaticGuide agreed dude! Hope you enjoy your console.

@@FanaticGuideI got it I’m responding late but it’s amazing I completed the Spider-Man 2 and have been having to much fun

i’ve been looking for this video
Great!
@@FanaticGuidecan’t wait to get this one for Christmas
Awesome. They may have more PS5 Slims than OG PS5s at this point in time, but that shouldn’t take out the excitement
@@FanaticGuidei hate the look of the slim i’m just happy to have the OG
@WyattHRX well that’s understandable
I like physical copies but i got the digital one because it was easier for me, i wanted physical copie to add to my collection of spiderman games lol

What camera are you using?
iPhone 14 Pro Max
Which one's good? The one that comes with dual controllers or the one which comes with a game??
I got the one that comes with the game. It would be nice to have an extra controller though. In my opinion, it really depends on what you want bundled with your console, an extra controller, or a game.
Does this version come with Spider-Man 2?
The version shown in the video does. If you’re looking at getting a PS5 Slim, there is also a PS5 Slim + Spider-Man 2 Bundle
Is the ps5 fan loud?
From my experience, no
I jus bought it how can I access spider man 2
You access it by redeeming the code in the PlayStation Store
Does the game come with the CD?
You can get a physical copy of the game (and it would of course have a disc), though if you got the game bundled with a console, you would only get the digital copy with the code that you have to redeem through the PlayStation Store
does the bundle have the deluxe edtion?
No, just the standard edition

You can get it at Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, or Target. Newegg is selling the same bundle, only with the Slim model.
