easy-peasy eh, Miranda? Well it looks it when you do it! This is good stuff to practice in case (admittedly unlikely) the rudder breaks - and to understand how boats sail. I've seen RUclips videos of a guy who sails a laser almost always without a rudder on board - spinnaker incuded!
Yeah for sure, the less rudder you use the faster you go! I must admit I used to practice sailing a windward leeward course, with the rudder tied to the centreline on the laser.
