As an "enhanced" LPK, I think it should come with an ambi selector. That's just my 2 cents, though (and my preference, being a lefty shooter). Great vid as always, LAV.
@@erwinwiesbauer9913 Agreed. I thought an ambi selector would be ideal until I actually tried one. Ambi I mag release and bolt catch would be sweet though
I bought this kit and have to say I love the grip, trigger guard, and trigger. The trigger is coated and feels very smooth and IMO makes for a smoother trigger press. The weight of the trigger feels fairly standard to other factory triggers. I did wish it came with an ambi safety selector. That’s the one part from this kit I ended up replacing.
I have used 3 of these kits and they are well worth the money. Love the PNT trigger, very smooth, not a lot of take up, has a clean break. As someone said before, if you keep an eye out they are routinely under $100
When they released the mlok line of hand guards I got super excited and bought a 14.5 carbine. Perhaps they could dabble, or at least market a little towards an adjustable gas block with a short barrel. Noveske has gone down the toilet so BCM could easily become the go-to for the sort of ‘switchblock’ carbines or sbr’s that Noveske specialized. Nothing against Noveske but their prices are insane.
My first rifle i built for myself i used the BCM parts kit. Could not have been happier. The PNT trigger is great until you can upgrade to an even better one like the Geissele. Miles ahead of a standard mil-spec
@@Spike-13 absolutely I only buy 2013-2105 models . When Colt lost Soul source in 2013 . All those M4 abd M4A1 URG and LPK flooded the market . All of mine except for 2 are 2015 and prior. I figured it would have a extended bolt release and a nice 45°/90° & optional ambi safety, maybe some cool looking take down pins too...lol but I'm sure the trigger, trigger guard and the pistol grip is what your paying for, but for $120 bucks you almost can get a drop in trigger and just buy the grip separate, but buying BCM you know it's going to be quality and last a while!
Anybody have any suggestions on whether or not I should build out a general purpose/duty rifle with this parts kit or a geissele kit and an alg act trigger?
This would be a nice kit, but I don't think the trigger should have been included. Geisselle makes a fine trigger and the option to choose your own aside from this parts kit would be nice.
So all you're looking for over a standard LPK is the BCM grip and triggerguard? With this kit you get a high quality LPK, with a trigger that has an excellent trigger pull for less than just your Geisselle trigger costs. BCM accomplished exactly what they were trying to do with this kit. Give their customers a LPK with everything you need/want to build a much better than average lower. If you're going to install a Geisselle trigger, get a mil spec LPK that comes without the pistol grip and add what you want. That's not the intention of this kit.
I am broke all the time. I adapt to the rifle instead of trying to upgrade the rifle. Great example is my Mosin nagant. Pretty primitive rifle, the market is full of stocks and upgrades. I keep it plain like it would have been issued in 1940. I know the triggers are sloppy, the sights aren't perfect but I hit my targets. My wife put a scope on her AR, it can't touch my M1A with iron sights. My Ruger 10/22 shoots circles around my mini 14. There was a guy at the range with a super pimped out AR that couldn't slap steel targets as fast or as accurate as my 10/22. It's not the gun or accessories, it's the guy behind the trigger.
With all that hoo-hah about Eric, Sam, YT brands & T-shirts... it occurs to me: It's kind of an odd phenomenon when we don't care, or care less than usual, that industry media are spokespeople or "paid shills" and that whole range of roles involved with sales... when the product is something we would endorse ourselves. In other words, I am a happy, religious BCM shooter... so "paid shills" don't bother me at all for BCM. 🤔
To me, it's kool-aid, it's gospel... BCM has been nutty reliable for me (like, literally not a single one failure for years and years... regardless the mags, regardless the junk I feed it... regardless my neglect, regardless worn parts... it's bizarre, and it wouldn't bother me if it did fail while plinking, as I would know I finally induced it...). To me, any "paid shill" is just pimping a truth I already know. But... exception, not the rule. 🤔

Got one of these for my pistol build. The trigger is awesome and all the parts are top quality. This LPK is going in ALL of my build from here on out!
Top of the line LPK. Used them in both of my builds and have had zero issues.
All my BCMs have never failed. Larry can we get a QC video on the lower parts kit?

BCM makes some of the best, if not the best, AR15 parts and furniture. Complete uppers highly recommended and priced great.
The BCM LPK is top notch. You'll be hard pressed to find a better set of parts all in once package.
Nice James Cameron edition in those shooting clips.......love that version of the deep sea.

Lookin good mr. vickers! Looks like the CrossFit is paying off
Kudos to Grant at G&R Tactical for suggesting this. Grant has always treated me right.
BCM , Aero , and Colt are the only ones I use for any build
JP makes a good kit too, especially if you get a trigger and grip somewhere else.
New Colt no. Anything colt from 5 years ago or older yes

THE BEST value out there. Assembled many losers. All with this kit. I think it's the perfect "fighting gun" trigger
Ha nice 👍 I buy most my stuff from Grant. Glad he's in my back yard. He sold me my first BCM years ago before their name was really known 👍
Ditto - there was a point when I was building prolifically where I swear Roxanne recognized my voice.
Awesome kit an priced right, that everybody can afford. Props to BCM !!!!!!!
Solid. Can't wait to build a lower.
Getting back to fighting trim. Looking great! Thanks for the videos.
love them Parks Kits
Outstanding! Also, you dropped weight! Looks great! OOHRAH! Semper Fi
I have the PNT trigger in one of my rifles and I love that trigger. Very smooth with a crisp break.
Paul has great taste in watches.
I put this kit on a build. Outstanding.
Definitely one of my preferred kits for sure!
Great product.
Thank you.
Love BCM.
I’ll have to use this for whenever I finally get my pistol build rolling.
Still can't get over how Larry looks now
Have one of these. Love it.
I want one of those new BCM upper receivers like you have been testing.
Welcome, welcome to City 17
In todays market shelf price should be around the $100 mark. That would be a good price for a good lpk with quality parts.
Love BCM and love the Sea Dweller!!
I believe it is a Deep Sea.
good stuff, thanks

Wish BCM would but out a SR25 type .308 line. Angle-cut rear receiver and everything, and uppers that accept KAC rails😎
Couldn’t imagine my rifle not being a BCM. 👌
Surprised the Grip Screw is slotted, seems Allen would be a more user friendly option.
For this price point, an ambi safety would have been nice. Yep, you guessed it, I'm a lefty.

LoL. I know I'm weird. I can't help it. Tears now 😭💔. Mommy warned me about people like you.
Now where did I leave my coloring book and color's!
Man, try to find an improved version of the Makarov pistol SPS Gyurza(SR1PM), which uses 9х21 cartridges with armor-piercing core!
