I loved Angel as a character but oh yeah there was so much more chemistry with buffy and spike... I felt the butterflies in my stomach whenever there was an encounter between them. Especially their kissing scenes 👌😂!!
Def prefer Spuffy to her and Angel. Loved Angel but Spike is just a more developed character and more matching to her, especially later on her as she deals with her own darkness. Plus for all their depth and darkness they are still dorks. And I will always love the Spike literally went through hell to get his soul back for her. Angel got his soul given to him, he never sought it out on his own (that I know of).

In School Hard to Lie to Me he has lots of moments where he's genuinely an intense and intimadating villain but I really think he works best as a member of the Scoobies. JM is far too funny and charasmatic to be trapped in villainy.
Sorry honey I don't remember exactly which episode because I had saved every scene in a video way back and used it from there but I believe it's on season 4 where spike starts having feelings for buffy and he starts stalking her and smelling her stuff and Riley sees him... hope it helps somehow.

This show was never about effects/CGI/monsters costumes. It was about characters and in this matter it is timeless.
