Thanks again. Not for me but I was surprised how inoffensive the under-saddle was when strummed. A good gigger, but as the years go by I now look for the tone that puts an immediate smile on my face.
I feel your next video should be bold and compare a new guitar with exactly the same model after 30 years of playing; tone, setup, bracing integrity, bridge-tipping, playability etc. Your honesty would be refreshing
I work on these every day :)
I like mine a lot. Easier to play than a big dreadnought. Since I usually play electrics (SG, strat, tele) the neck feels pretty normal. Big headache is the battery pack. You have to loosen strings to get at the cheap velcro bag. Thinking about reposistioning the battery pack to the edge of the lateral sound port to faciliate battery changes. Has anyone has tried this?
Could you tell me the name of the opening tune you use for your reviews please? I love the sound of it, but am quite new to guitar and wouldn’t be able to transpose it. 😊
I like them.
I'm looking for a dreadnought with a cutaway and a good treble sound. Anybody ant suggestions?
It sounds poor compared to the slightly more expensive Gibsons and definitely the lovely expensive Gibsons which are still iconic
Αre the back and sides woods solid ??
Yes, solid walnut back and sides
I special ordered one what an extreme disappointment poor workmanship rough edges the fretboard was a disgrace it was returned before it even left the store. It did sound good but it did not feel good! Later I picked up a studio hummingbird that was so much better in every respect.
It's even worse on the Gibson G-45.
hard to beat epiphone for the price difference-dr masterbiilt 500 used sounds as goog or better, plays every bit as well
The Gibson factory seems to sack the workforce on a regular basis
