In this video I will show you how to install LED into the rear reflector on a 2018+ Honda Odyssey. The process involves removing the rear bumper to access the wiring, and the removal of the reflector. You will also need to purchase a controller module to allow for the LED reflector to function as parking light, brake light, and turn signal. The video will cover all the steps involved. Please watch the video for the full tutorial.

Give this man an award. Talk about clean, this mod looks factory. Keep up the good work. I enjoy watching these mods.
You are nuts! I would have never thought of doing that! Thanks for doing it. I’ll have to try it.
Damn, i thought “simple” replace instead you pulling some MacGyver 😂😂👍👍
Thanks for all the video because of the video I purchased a 2020 Odyssey myself. Thanks!!!!!
Welcome to the Honda family brother I have a 2017 Honda accord coupe 💯💯
Thank you for another amazing video.Loved the step by step.It looks fantastic.
I love my '20 oddy. Might do the same to mine. You're the man, bro.
Amazing, you are a pro. I have never seen such beautiful work as yours.
Great & instructive Video! This is a great rear light improvement project!
Please make a video on the license plate lights. I can not find any instructions on it for the life of me!
You are the Odyssey King!
that was lot of efforts. Nice one.
Very, very beautiful, it's nice, what's a metaphant. I'm doing my hyundai sports car like that thanks man very nice👍🏾
You could make one a fog light. Keep up your amazing videos.
Could you do a Honda hack video for the infotainment system? Thanks
Pretty dope !! Beautiful mod, one day I'll mod mine.
Good video I have a Chevy Malibu looking for some custom reflector lights
Awesome work man. Great job ! Subscribed!!
Super clean work
Can you show how to add extra speakers to third row? I have exl with res. and on this trim there is no speakers on rear row.
love it - thank for sharing!
I love this custom modification.. Thx
Congratulations !
You should wear a glove on the hand that you don't hold the Dremel, the disk was too close to your right thumb.
Great job d2f
Thank you!
Could you please let me know what is that tool you used with drill to open Philips screw something with “angle”
It's a right angle screwdriver attachment amzn.to/3W4Yu1s
Very well done
Thank you for all you videos! This mod is great. Is there no way to reach the reflectors withOUT taking the whole panel off? I am not comfortable taking that whole panel off. 😬
You could probably just clip them off by putting your hand underneath the bumper. However, it's best to take the whole bumper off as you can then see where your wires go and so that you can access the inside of the car.
Don't be too afraid of removing a bumper. They're like Legos. They clip in and out of place easily, and the screws are guiding points.
For the control module, I would not recommend them whatsoever. Especially from corsomotion. The company states they have a warranty but its bs. Already had 4 modules fail before the warranty was up and they didn't replace any of them. They had me ship 2 of the modules back at my own cost as well. They take forever to reply to your messages and then end up leaving you hanging for months on end. If you're planning on doing this, add 1 led strip per whichever you want (parking, break, or turn). In my case, I rewired it up just to have 2 led strips, turn and break. Wire up the positives to each the turn and break, and ground would be wired together. Doing it this way will avoid spending money on the control modules, as they are not cheap... 25-30 bucks for a pair... that you'll potentially have to repurchase over and over.
Hey buddy. You ever do side jobs? Like making and selling this.? I would love to buy a pair made by you !!!
Sorry I don't have the capacity to make it for others. Thank you.
I would like to know if you can do a modified to a 2017 Ford Explorer limited
Hello sir. I know this is a pretty old video, but wondering how has the control module been holding up for you? I'm about to do this mod on my 2020, but saw the other guys comment about the module going bad. Thanks.
No issue with the module.
can I buy this mod from you directly, can't find it neither at e bay nor amazon for the odyssey
Amazing! How many hours does this take to do?
Not including removal, drying time, and install, the mod itself probably took around 4 hours.
Very nice
Hey do you think it possible to add power tailgate to ex model ?
Are you selling them I want them 😅😅😊
They now sell these on Amazon.
Yours has a slight delay, also turn signals are not in sync, you need to switch your turn signals to LED
The delay is because he still has the factory incandescent bulbs in the factory lights. If he had upgraded them to LED’s as well, they’d be exact
What is the link to the Amazon item?
If my vehicle has an OEM Trailer hitch with wired plug under bumper, can I tap into that instead of accessing taillight wiring from above?
Yes you can connect to the trailer hitch wiring
Hola estas luces trabajan en un Nissan Pathfinder 2017
Coolest - awesome
Holy moly that's real nice! You dialed too fast!
Hi could you pls help me with wiring 2017 odyssey ex, new module has black white, yellow and red. From my understanding black is for ground yellow turn and red break, white is parking. On the van I have green (right turn signal) yellow left turn signal , red wire is it break? And brown ground? Where do I connect the white wire from the module
On the control module, yellow is turn signal, white is parking light, red is brake, black is chassis ground. As to the wiring color on your 17 van, you need to test it with a multimeter to find out which wire is which.
@@dial2fast Thanks yes made it work
Halo *@dial2fast* !
❤️❤️❤️ YAFEH most Beautiful custom modification I dream of for my 2016 Honda Accord Sport Sedan! ❤️❤️❤️ Sadly, I lack electrical skills. Would you be willing to make a pair of LED reflectors with plug&play control module wire harness for me? I would like to pay you!
Hello sir,
I have a 2020 EXL without RES. Could you please recommend an aftermarket RES that I could mount onto the back on the front seats? One of our kid is in a front facing car seat and the other two are still in rear facing car seats. Thank you very much
not possible yet
After all that , is it still a reflector? Lol , nice work.
Thanks! Well the lens still reflects if it's not illuminated. And if the LED is on, you can definitely see it. Guess you can call them semi-reflector.
At night these are better than a reflector only piece as if someone who forgot to turn their headlight on will see these no trouble.
Easier to just put reflector tape on rear of car just as good less stress too
@@thew4rrior5codeabsolutely not just as good
would it be possible to have dynamic turn signals?
Dynamic as in sequential LED? If so, the tough part is find sequential LED strip that fits the specific length.
dial2fast yeah, but would they be sequential when brake or parking light is on? 😅
Don't think there is a controller that will function as parking light and sequential turn. It's going to be a challenge or very expensive to do.
Nice vedio
Do you sell them?
Sorry I do not sell them. I make these as a hobby for myself.
Looks like ur license led is not aligned
Never really looked but those are factory LEDs on the license plate. TBH, they are not very bright and it's not a bulb I can change out.
You forgot to upgrade the turn signal to LEDs
I'm sure there's another great video coming about that 😁
I enjoy watching it ,it kills my time😰 but i dont see difference✌ sorry..
Don’t see a difference? Before, they didn’t light up. After, they light up. Huge difference.
Love your videos on moding the Honda Odyssey.. my question is do you think installing just one LED light strip would be enough light output ? Instead of your double row of LED ? And do you have to worry about any hyper flash with this install ? Great job.
One strip will still look alright at night, but you won't see much during daytime. The two rows is also not going to be super bright during daytime. No hyperflash issue because you are not replacing the factory turn light bulbs.
