Very creative, well executed, videoed and explained. Please tell me what the black apparatus is on the right side of screen at 2:53. Do you have a link for that? Thanks!
That is another manual solder paste dispenser design that I was working with back in 2019. I don't like it as much as this one, but it is sometimes useful. You can find the FreeCAD design files and stil files for the three parts on Thingiverse at www.thingiverse.com/thing:3510702 . I used that dispenser in an earlier SMT soldering tutorial video (ruclips.net/video/CFnWlr5-RkU/видео.html ) that I recorded in 2019.
@@bminch I make wine and do some titrations using a syringe over stir plate. The problem is that I have Parkinson's. So, I am trying to rig up something that will hold the syringe firmly so that I can just turn a knob/bolt (very slowly as it gets close to the endpoint) that will press the plunger. This is very helpful information. Thank you, sir!
Hi. I watched all of the videos in this series and they are very impressive! Informative and great to follow. May I inquire about the microscope setup? as well as , have you attemted any double sided pcb's? Keep up the great videos, appreciated, Peter Australia
It looks like my solderpaste is much dryer than yours... Is it better to mix in a bit of flux to make the paste a bit more runny? At the moment i would describe miney more towards "crumbly" than "runny"....
I have never tried to do that, but I have seen several short RUclips tutorials that advocate doing so. My impression is that you want to add a small amount of an appropriate liquid flux at a time, stirring it in thoroughly, until the solder paste gets to the right look and consistency. It would be something like cooking by adding a pinch of this and a pinch of that rather than by measuring ingredients out.
And no music, wonderful
