Your improv and intonation are better than his by far (his enunciation is okay, but his voice is like nails on a chalkboard compared to your silky smooth voice - yeah, I heard him; he's too nasal). I still think there was something fishy going on when the decision was made to change the show. They should have hired Randy West or Robert Kemp to take over for ya. Kemp fills in for your years of tenure in the TPIR Decades video game. And he does an incredible job too. Mellow, true, but still nice.

My sentiments exactly. I stopped watching the prices right after Mike Richards fired rich fields. Yes I watched when I was a kid win johnny olson and Rod Roddy was announcers. Both of those guys are gone and Rich fields I’m quite sure at the time made those men very proud. Bob Barker made a wonderful decision to make him the permanent announcer. And rest in peace to Bob Barker and his two sidekicks that he is reunited with.
