I'm into colorful and fun so I really liked this home. Some of my favorite things are the colorful kitchen cabinets. Love them! The pink sofa and the shell throw pillows, the swing in her bedroom, the chandelier in her bedroom, the pink ruffled garment on display. The outdoor patio is exquisite. I love the artistic vibe and the natural mineral gemstones. This is a place where I would enjoy hanging out:-) I found the Cali oranges fun too. I can appreciate the whimsy as a southern Cali girl myself who lived in NYC for five years:-)

Love everything about your apartment and your decor. My mother was born in Brooklyn (1926) and came to Seattle, married and raised her family. She had a hoya plant, and I have a hoya plant. I have never known anyone else who knows what a hoya plant is. I am a fellow taurean and live for creating, Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

I literally have goosebumps watching this video. I believe in zodiac signs in passing. I'm A Taurus, born May 13, and the way she describes her home sounds EXACTLY like me. The choices, the reasons for the decision, bringing the outside inside, creating a space that's positive and welcoming, not searching for the perfect piece but letting the piece find you. That's exactly what I've done in my space, also here in Brooklyn.

I think it takes a lot of courage and humility to allow home tours like this to be revealed in such a public and permanent way. Although everyone is entitled to their own opinion, you actually do not have to comment if you disagree with a style, choice, or personal practice that was shared. Without the tour, you would not arrive at such harsh opinions, and it is really too easy to NOT tear someone else's home down with negativity.

I love her home. Her beautiful luminous skin is also so enchanting! I am also a fellow earth sign who lives in NYC. I have the same fake fireplace and the same layout house, as well as a BERTAZZONI stove lol. I also removed the sheetrock to expose the brick walls in our home. Funny how strangers can have such similar sensibilities. I am working on my indoor plants. I can plant a forrest outside. But my indoor plants struggle. beautiful home.

Agreed. I have no problem honoring our ancestors, but leaving food out for someone who is no longer with us borders on ancestor worshipping and she did mention an altar. She does have a nice aesthetic to the rest of the home.

I lived in New York, many moons ago with the hubby. I had to take that midnight train to North Carolina without hubby. You seem to have a peaceful vibe and a lady that knows what she wants and has created it. Your town home has many items in it, but you have designed it, to have an inviting flow to it. I like the improved archway and the colors in your kitchen. The wallpaper gives the steps a positive "attitude". I like most of your decor, the pink sofa, art, shell and the throw pillow. You said that the swing chair was an item that you wanted for a long time and that it traveled with you to your "promised land". I'm very proud of you, that you attained what YOU wanted and kept moving forward. Your many, many plants add a positive energy to your town home. I love plants and they add so much to a home, but plants don't thrive for me. I'm thinking about getting an Hoya plant. Lot's of Love!!!!!! Stay BLESSED!!! 👏
