GKMC I think is a good example of that. GKMC tells a story the ENTIRE audience can't relate to, but those that do have something very special, yet GKMC makes up for that with catchy songs. MMatBS, my second favorite (personally) is more relatable to more people I'd say.
Yet, because it's relatable and isn't as catchy as his others, we don't see that being mentioned and also why MMatBS is used by some very unique people to say that Kendrick has 'fell off'. When a lot of people have to confront they infidelity, there trauma, and there wrongs, they like to stop listening, a lot of pride within that.
But people act like much of this isn't public knowledge. Does that make his emotional abuse and ALLEGED physical abuse any better? No. But what that DOES mean is it's the same as Kendrick saying "let your core audience stomach that, then tell em where you get your abs from", though I don't know if Drake admitted to that at all. They both need to respond, adequately, without the expectations of disses in that regards.
