Had to look away from the screen as the flashing display was not good for my eyes.
I did shop at Jensen's a few times in very late 80's and very early 90's. Purchased some UHF radios and still have an Icom IC-40 from the shop.

Don't know if anyone answered this question but yes. there is a slide switch right behind the VFO. I'm looking for a good GXii at a reasonable price.

This is exactly my same rig, but rotator dial is very tight to turn, and when it does, the frequency doesn't change. Sprayed it inside and out, no adjustment have worked. Any ideas on how to fix the problem? Thanks

There is no reason to use rf amp on lover bands, natural band noise is higher ...
