US defence secretary says 'no evidence' of Gaza genocide following protests inside Senate

- The US defence secretary Lloyd Austin has told the Senate the government has seen 'no evidence' that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. Austin addressed a Senate armed services committee during a budget hearing and was interrupted several times by protesters calling for the US to stop funding Israel's war in Gaza. The UK also confirmed there was is no change to arms exports to Israel while meeting with US counterparts.

Most of these guys have said or done (or omitted) things that have allowed the genocide in Gaza to continue, so there is no expectation of condemnation of the genocide, now or in the future.

The Defense Secretary said, "We don't have evidence of that to my knowledge". The politician twisted the defense Secretary's words and said, "So you say Israel is not committing genocide." It is not the same.
You're trying to twist the secretary's words. He said, "We Don't have evidence that a genocide is being created". That clearly means he negates the genocide. You twisted his words to make it seem like he said he doesn't have any knowledge of the matter which he didn't say.
