Simple Aloo Fry Different Style | Simple Aloo Fry Sabzi | Quick Aloo Fry | Aloo Fry Recipe | Simple Potato Fry | Easy Aloo Fry Recipe | Fast Aloo Fry Recipe | Spice Eats Recipes
Ingredients for Simple Aloo Fry:
(Tsp-Teaspoon; Tbsp-Tablespoon)
- Potato - 4 medium (around 300 gms)
- Onions, fine chopped - 1 medium
- Green chillies, chopped - 2 nos.
- Coriander leaves, chopped- 2-3 tbsp
- Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
- Red Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
- Salt- 1/2 tsp
- Oil- 1.5 tbsp
Preparation:
- Peel and cut the potatoes into small cubes.
- Fine chop onions and chop green chillies and coriander leaves.
Process:
- Heat oil in a frying pan and add cumin seeds. Once it splutters, give it a stir and add the cubed potatoes. Mix well and fry for 2 mins on medium heat.
- Now add the salt and turmeric powder and mix well. Fry on low heat for around 5 mins stirring it few times.
- Now add the red Chilli powder and mix well. Continue to fry for 2 minutes on low heat.
- Add the chopped onions and green chillies, give it a mix and cover & cook for around 5-6 mins on low till the potatoes and onions are soft.
- Remove cover & garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
- Mix well and serve hot
