You could choose "your starting deck". Every character have four starting deck possilibities.
I’m sure I’m not the only one who misses the days of Exit the Gungeon. Now I’m well aware retro played it so much it wouldn’t even be fun for him at this point and a lot of us are also burnt out on it but man, I’m having a hard time finding a game that even came close to the magic that game had and the absolute marvel watching retro play it. 🤷🏼♂️ hope y’all are having a good start to your weekend.
Reto! I'm so happy you're playing this game. I absolutely love it. Please do a round or two on realm mode, it is a lot more "right into the action" than the campaign mode. Its a lot easier to explore different teams that way.
You might also want to try "trials of fire", which is an excellent title.

Been playing this one quite a bit (haven't tried the new update yet), but it is a damn good game.
Indeed, your strength lies in finding intriguing rogue lite/like games, not in rolling strength to find another way in! (I joke.)

think you could pick starting deck for characters, maybe you do that later?
but mage or others as well could be more strength/dex/int depending on what you pick at start.

this one def flew under my radar. looks great. I hope they add dungeons or expeditions in.
I kind of already has both (dungeons in act one, and expeditions in two). Concepts are, of course, different from in other games, but the core ideas are already there.
I just played it awhile ago and it is so different from early access version...

It's not official release yet. They only finished Act 3 and not Act 4 yet.
Deckbuilding + Rougelike equals to random 95% lose run. It's really a fabricated repeatability that makes these games superficially long.
