Being very new to Lasers and just purchased my first Xtool D1 pro 10W I’ve been pouring over RUclips! This channel is now by far my favorite!! And, now I’m eyeballing this S1 40W machine. Can’t thank you enough for such a detailed and honest review. I am now completely addicted
@@SamcraftcomFor the record…..I just bought the S1. ❤. Question, I also bought your test files on Etsy, I assume I start by not adjusting the laser settings just yet on the files? I’m writing down the settings you used during this video to get me in the ballpark. I also have the riser base on the way with honeycomb as well on the way. I’m trying to not score the crumb tray as I am a bit anal retentive about doing that to keep it clean looking. I’ve heard if I use a silicone sheet on the bottom that will eliminate me scoring the crumb base..Any truth to that? Would love your advice. I did buy a piece of galvanized steel from Lowe’s to use as my sacrificial bottom. Not sure that will work? Love your channel and maker items. Keep up the great info!
I’ve watched every S1 review and you did the best one! Thank your for mentioning No Camera as a CON! That is the single reason why I’m not getting it. I bet they come out with an add-on camera module. I also agree about the autofocus and having to grab the laser module and having to move it so much. What I like about your reviews is that you’re not afraid to mention things you don’t like about what you’re reviewing, unlike other reviews that gush over whatever they’re given for free. Thanks Sam!
The camera is cool, but I’ve seen too many P2 videos showing people centring everything and it’s still off centre after the burn which tells me the camera system, while good isn’t integrated enough to be THE killer app. An example of proper integration would be doing something like the Shaper Origin system does where the camera is indexing to a physical code placed on a surface. This would allow the system to correct the camera if it’s not mounted exactly and therein lies the issue with the P2. People seem to get varying results with the camera because it’s too simplistic and doesn’t have a way to auto correct through some procedure. Until then…letting you mark it easily yourself as seen on the S1 will always yield more accurate results. The new additions to that feature let you mark multiple objects at different angles but with absolute accuracy. As of now, it’s the only sure way to get accurate setup on these types of machines. Not having to manually jog the steppers is also a win IMHO.
This was very helpful. This is such an upgrade in so many ways from my FSL . That probe is better than using the little rubber disc I had to use. I’m not going to use this for major production…more hobby laser. You made many great points. I appreciate your honesty. You have had lasers that are better. It’s hard to go back….but with the boat anchor I have, this looks like a breeze. The last time I updated, I had a 100 ft Ethernet cable that I had to run to my basement! Camera didn’t work half the time…focusing was a nightmare. This looks like a dream. Thanks
Sam, you so rock. I've been wishing I had the funds for this, but just spent $1800 on the the D1 Pro 20W with with every bell and whistle. Now I feel better about what I have. Might just upgade my 20W to 40W in the future, but what my machine does now is perfect for me. So, thatbks for the help in realization. Again, you rock.

Constantly having to physically move corner to corner I don’t like. I’m a camera guy to. It is a tremendous asset to a laser and they missed the mark. With all of thes features plus the curve following engraving makes it to where you can’t use Lightburn
I'm right there with you re: the positioning feature. And you're right... the advanced features do make it where this machine isn't truly compatible with Lightburn. Thankfully xTool has been very good on improving their software and listening to their user groups for improvement and enhancement requests.
Looks tempting to get a XTool but that is why I have a Epilog CO2 laser 24X12 45 watt. Does about everything I do in woodworking, craving and engraving.

Great review, I actually just purchased this, since my D1 has no camera it's nothing for me to miss. Looking forward to getting this up and running. I'll touch back if i find anything out to add for you.
I love your honest review Sam, warts and all. I have a sculpfun S30 33w ultra, I was thinking of building a laser enclosure with exhaust fan. Never used it yet as I’m totally new to the game. Now that I see this I like the safety features. Would appreciate your advice. Regards Paul Ireland 🇮🇪
I love your reviews Sam. I noticed the honeycomb movement and since I was just fighting with the honeycomb on the laser I bought based on watching you use the Ortur, (it is currently driving me crazy). I watched another youtuber (Andy Bird Builds) reviewing the WeCreat (I thought I saw on your counter), and am watching some other reviews as it looks like it has the features I am looking for (other then the pass through). But I am just getting into the laser engraving hobby, I will probably wait a bit to play with the machine I have before upgrading, but your reviews have helped me narrow down some of the things I now know I want in my next machine.
Great video! Thanks. Have you had the opportunity to try the IR laser option for the S1? I just ordered my S1 with the IR laser addition. It's supposed to be better for metal. There is an xtool article that says it capable of deep engraving for a more 3D or slightly raised effect, but I haven't seen any videos on it. I'm completely new to lasers, but I'm looking forward to learning and getting started.
Awesome review!! I'm wondering though, how does this compare to the Creality 40W Falcon Laser? What do you think would work better in a small business setting with multiple people operating the device? (I'm trying to find an engraver to run in a makerspace at my local library.)
I always appreciate your reviews Sam. They come from the usability perspective in the real world...not hype to placate the manufacturer. I like the machine but will definitely wait until the S2 or S1 Pro comes out to see if they address any of your concerns. For now I'll continue with my D1 Pro and newly acquired F1 (because of your reviews/tutorials on it) 😀
I am satisfied with your video. But I have a new problem and don't know how to fix it. any chance ( have you had a problem with the vector not showing the setting for Power % / Speed & pass count) ? this is with XCS program I am dealing with
This review definitely helped. Although I haven’t make a decision, it explains things that aren’t going to be on their website. I’ve been kinda thinking between this and I think it’s the D1 40w/10w. I agree with most of your dislikes. Moving honeycomb is a pain. Keypad on the machine would be great, although I have my computer close to the laser that I have now and my cnc, so not a lot of back and forth. Don’t have a camera so don’t miss that, but I know what you’re saying about if you’re used to it you want it. Sorry about your lid, and yeah you’d think it wouldn’t scratch that easy. I like the enclosed feature of this style, especially with the built in fan. I guess my deal is trying to find one that does the most with the materials I want to use. I may have to narrow my ideas of what I want to work with a bit. Anyway, that’s for the informative video and hope the machine works well for you.
Hi Sam, help I'm thinking of buying this to create puzzles it's been awhile since I've worked on a laser machine... Very out of the game what's your opinion P2 or S1?
I wonder why no one is reviewing the MK2, or even mentioning it. The Louisiana Hobby Guy had kind of a reveal video but nothing new. I wonder if the laser is not performing well?
@@I-LOVE-EARTH All I know is that my box hasn't even arrived yet. Rich and Patrick were two of the first to receive production units, so it's not surprising that there aren't many videos out yet. That being said, there have never been a lot of review videos of the LaserMatic. Maybe I'll make one, but since I have only one video and zero subscribers I'm not sure how helpful that would be.
I'd watch it! But on a serious note...the dot size of the MK2 30W is huge compared to the S1 40W. The S1 is going to cut a lot faster and cleaner. MK2 30W: 0.30mm x 0.12mm /// S1 40W: 0.08 x 0.10 mm@@landreywoodworks4957
I am very new to lasers. I have ordered my S1 20 watt. After watching a LOT of videos I’m a bit confused on the arrays that I need to run. In one video you say not to change materials settings. Help me understand and how to run an array with my S1 20. My machine will be delivered soon and I want to at least understand arrays.
I’ve just taken delivery of my S1 with the riser base. To my understanding when I have the riser base installed this laser no longer conforms to laser class 1 and is now class 4 thus requiring glasses. Is that true or only when the doors are open and using the conveyor?
Interesting to hear you say you do not do multiple passes. I have found it difficult woods to cut so much better with multiple passes on the S1 40w. Often getting flames if I do one pass. If you still use this machine, how have you found the single pass in the eleven months since releasing this video. Thanks.
Thank you for a great and very detailed review. Among the best I have seen 👍 How is the charring on this machine when cutting 3mm birch vs on a CO2 laser? I can get pretty nice light brown edges with my CO2 and a compressor. Is the air assist good enough on this machine for cutting?
Sam love your videos. I’m new to lasers and just started with the S1. Wondering if you could do a video explaining the working area and that gray area at the top in xcs software. Sees some might be saying you can cut, engrave and or score in that area in some way?? I’m so confused as it gives and error when I have something in that area so wondering how it can be used. Thanks for the videos it has helped me a ton.
ok, so now that you have done your official review, would you buy it for yourself having already used the other machines? or if this was the first one, would you buy it as a starter machine? it sounds like you prefer the d1? or d2? the red one, over this one. I have seen other reviews and there's some kind of 3d engraving that it does, have you tried that yet? if not, will you do one in the future (or is that what the tea box was?) thanks for your input about the machine thus far. I'm still riding the fence on what to buy. Hi Angela 👋.
I would like to see the xTool software more, particularly the design tools. I am use to use LB, so if I were to switch, I would need to know what capabilities the xTool software.
Really a great review! But now us first time buyers a more confused. Is there a better first a laser option in your opinion? Seemed steep on price but reviews seemed great. Thanks for any help!
If your budget allows for this machine to begin with I don't think you will regret it. I started by laser engraving business on much less of a machine!
Hey Sam, great objective review. A laser in my future I hope and I like the XTOOL line so we'll have to see. I really appreciate your reviews and all your videos that seem to be popping up more and more in my feed.
Awesome review as usual Sam. I mentioned during the live I was waiting for your review because you show real world jobs, and you tell us things you do not like from a working day to day perspective. Others often seem to be adverts and nothing is wrong or annoying. For the honeycomb I have seen some (Clack Shack?) who had a master jig into which his working jigs fit. This automatically aligns the jigs and laser (D1). I think the D1 fit into it also, so it was super accurate. I think you could produce a spacer jig that would work.
Sam as always great work! It’s a cool machine I think a few software updates will make the twin point system so much better. I would love to be able to plot out as many objects as I want especially for batching out products. Their updates seem to come in fast so I bet we will see that soon.
How do you feel as this laser as your first laser? I have been looking at the xtool d1 20 watt laser but am finding that the s1 has more features to it that would be good to have to learn and grow with. Thant you for a great video
If your budget allows, this would make a great first laser! I started my laser engraving business on a much smaller sized and lower power machine. Something like this to start off with would have been amazing.
I have been watching your videos. I really want to get one but have lots of questions. My husband says, "Could you engrave on my wood stocks on my gun, outer parts on my guns, and my ammo mags. I make a lot of crafts on wood and tumblers. I would like to know if I could do any of this with this machine. Before I jump right into it, head first.
I got the riser that doesn't have the slots to adjust the height of the plate. After installing the riser base, how the hell am I supposed to use the laser now? It won't measure the distance, because everything that I want to cut/engrave is sitting too low.
Thanks Sam! This seems like at least a well built machine. I would think having 40Watt you could cut through just about anything ? With the probe reminds me a lot of how the Shapoko works. Which brings a question to mind…when you are moving the laser head by hand are you having to go slow to keep from generating a current?and re your caseI bet you could use some buffing compound to get them out ? Or depending on what kind of plastic very carefully barley hit it with a torch and you may get it to clear up again.
I presented the same concerns over moving the gantry by hand to xTool, but did not get a reply back. I'm not a fan of it, but they show doing it all the time, especially in their live streams. EEK
im looking to get the best i can for price and productivity and versatility. tell me what machine would you recommend im a cnc programer so im not new to all this.
Thanks for a great and in depth review. To me you are the go to guy for hobby lasers. I've been watching the Xtool D1 for a long time but by the time I get all the things I need for it (enclosure, riser kit, air assist, honeycomb etc) I'm not far from one of these with a metal enclosure that is durable and very fire retardant. That said I'm waiting on a WeCreat product....we'll see how long that takes to happen. This field sure changes rapidly.
I take that as a huge compliment and will strive to keep such a high status in your mind. :) You are absolutely right regarding the cost of a decked out D1 vs. this S1. I have been testing the WeCreat laser for a while and will have my video on it soon. I can say that I would not put the two machines as comparable side-by-side machines. They're very different.
Thank you for the time and effort to make this video. Do you know if the laser is still Class 1 certified when using the riser base? I believe I read it is not considered Class 1 with the conveyor, but I am wondering if it is when just using the riser base. Thanks.
With the riser base it is so close to being Class 1, but there is a bit of laser light leakage in the back. Nothing up front or on the sides though! Maybe there was a gasket I forgot or didn't get, but it's there in the back. It could easily be fixed with foam tape though.
Thanks so much for such a detailed and HONEST review! I'm curious: does the software allow for use of the curve tracing when using the RA2, so it's possible to get perfect focus for objects that taper or bulb out?
Great Video Sam - I appreciate those that tell it how it is I was excited the hear Xtool announce a new laser But for all the reason you mention that turn to dismay - Surely they saw what improvements many user of D1 were adding to make the machine productive I think a Roly LaserMaster might be my upgrade path appear to be great build quality with useful and well thought out functions also all in one package for the cost of S1 Base Machine
Check out Joshua De Lisle's latest review on that machine...He didn't get the riser base and he was not happy ... No camera and the supplied software were his BIG complaints. The honey comb bed movement was on his hate list too. Check his reviews BUT you did a great review.
I think your description makes that review sound worse than it was. Josh went through a laundry list of superlatives at the end. His key issues included two that are addressed by existing add-ons: risers and extension. He wants a camera because he's used to it, though some other reviewers have said they like the S1's positioning options better, so it may be a personal opinion-type thing. Josh also wishes all the features of S1 were available in Lightroom, which would be nice. The same issue exists for the F1. I don't know how easily manufacturers can get their specific features supported, which would be interesting to know. Josh also said he had some connectivity issues. He didn't mention if he was wireless or wired. On an F1 and D1 I've not had issues connecting via USB. Perhaps these early machines have early firmware or software. I didn't see this mentioned in other reviews yet. Let's hope it's not common.
I keep seeing comments about the S1 not being compatible with Lightburn, but guys, xTool is not the owner of Lightburn. If the S1 doesn't work perfectly with Lightburn, shouldn't that be Lightburn's issue? Do you want a machine that can perfectly connect with Lightburn but lacks any innovative features? No, thank you! Lightburn's development is too slow; it can't keep up with the new features these companies are developing.
Sam, a question- I already bought D1Pro 20W back in August. But, even when I was buying it, it wasn’t quite what I wanted. I liked enclosure and camera of M1, but didn’t want 5 or 10 W and don’t need a cutter. I love capabilities, camera and enclosure of P2, but don’t like the size, too big, and CO2 description intimidates me, and definitely can’t afford the price. So, I really wanted D1 Pro 20W size and capability, and doing wood is my main interest, but didn’t like no enclosure and no camera and especially the fact it doesn’t come assembled. So I did buy enclosure for it, in fact the whole bundle with air assist, RA2, honeycomb…. But, never even opened the boxes. That assembly still intimidates me most of all. Then I see S1, and it looks so much more like what I wanted, especially the enclosure and coming assembled. I do still wish it had a camera, but its system still looks pretty good, plus a few other nice features, like better focusing and doing curves. I’m too late to return the D1, plus with restock fee and shipping back, it’s not a good thing to do. But, I’m sooooo tempted to just buy S1, and sell my D1 locally. And id probably then just go with 40W. I also already have F1 which I love, so wouldn’t need IR module and probably not 20W when they bring it separately too. As to why I want it, mainly for making gifts for friends and family, and selling just a little locally to cover some of my expenses. With all of my reasoning above, between all the machines, what do you think?? Is S1 the answer?? I’d really appreciate your answer. Thank you!!!
Unfortunately you don't have much choice. If you want to buy a gift for your friends or family, I think a boxed machine (like S1/M1) would be better than an open machine (like D1) as smoke is a big problem.Wecreat might be a good choice, or you could go for the M1 as it has a camera. Using a laser machine is not easy for a novice.
I didn’t hear you say in the review- will this work fine with lightburn or only their software? Thank you for the great review. The floating honeycomb is borderline rage inducing!
As a newbie I appreciate your videos so much. Thanks a bunch. This leads me to…..in case I missed it…what cutting and engraving test files did you run? Was it some of your files or the machines file? I ask because mine is to come this week.
Thanks, when I watched that video I saw it on the wood and acrylic. I’m guessing you run the same ones on the metals or are there additional tabs on your download? Sorry for the additional questions.
If you purchase an xTool machine, stick with their software (xTool Creative Space). It is feature packed and many of the new machines with advanced features only work with the XCS software. Lightburn is the universal standard software, but does not have support for all the bells and whistles found on the new xTool machines.
I see that we creat vision laser back there but no video on it???? What do you think of it honestly or like first impressions??? How’s the camera alignment on it?
It's still being tested... I've been identifying software bugs and working with the company on resolutions. I'm getting closer to producing my video on it, but want to give them time to help iron out kinks in it too.
@@Samcraftcom amazing I’m glad your helping ordered the vision and the s1 can’t wait to get both just wish the s1 had a camera I struggle without one real bad so hope the vision camera is great and wish I knew if the s1 will have a way to use a camera soon in the future…. Loved your video and can’t wait for it on the vision would also love a video on how to use the s1 without camera on odd shaped items so if it never gets a camera lol 😆 keep killing it man!!
Hi, thanks for all your info. I have the s1 with riser base and the smoke purifier and I still smell smoke. Any suggestions or advise as to what the problem would be? I used two of the strips that came with the riser base on the front and back door but not sure where the other two go. Thanks
I don't have the purifier for this machine, but don't think it can remove all of the smells. I always vent machines out of my workspace completely and recommend others to do the same. I also had two leftover strips and didn't know where to place them.
Hello again, thanks for your response. Some questions for you. I would like to purchase your laser card test sample for the S1. Could you send a link. I have the 40 watt version. Also does this need to be used on all types of woods and thicknesses and just kept for a reference? Can it be set up specifically for the s1 40 watt. I am completely new to laser woodworking. Thanks for all your help.
I haven't found a workflow like the xTool P2 has for auto-positioning of items... yet. Not saying it's not there, just haven't seen it yet. Getting the machine without any documentation was rough! :)
@@Samcraftcom Thanks for all you do . I am only a couple months into the laser world . Been using an orturLm3 20W. looking to now purchase the Xtool F1 for shows and the S1 for shop. I am getting better with Lightburn and was wondering if Creative space is similar. Thanks
You've got that right! :) I have plans in the near future to offer up machines I do not keep to my viewers. I'm thinking of an auction listing on my website starting at shipping costs, then letting whatever it sells for be donated to charity. It would be a nice win for everyone involved I think.

Can you leave the riser base the whole time, even for flat pieces?
lucky for you have the usa xTool S1 Riser Base. Europe got screwed with a closed version.
Do you have buy the height riser to use a rotary. Or can you just make a diy riser out out wood. Thanks great video

Great video, Sam. I have an S1 on order. I will be using an inline fan. Should I leave the internal fan off or on when I'm running the laser? Thanks
How thick of a piece of wood can it take without the riser base? Thanks for a great review!

Went with the 40w for leatherette patches. Thinking I should have done the 20w for the detail. Are you happy with the 40w for your patches?
Thank you.
For now I'll continue with my D1 Pro and newly acquired F1 (because of your reviews/tutorials on it) 😀
I wonder why they took the camera off this one. 🧐. Why 3” duct work, I don’t get it.
If you're anywhere close to TN shoot me an email. I'm planning to sell my D1 Pro 20w setup. I've not used it in a very long time.
Hi Sam, help I'm thinking of buying this to create puzzles it's been awhile since I've worked on a laser machine... Very out of the game what's your opinion P2 or S1?
Thanks Sam for your honest (as always) opinion. Think I will keep waiting for a perfect machine.
Good job, Sam. I think you'd like the Roly LaserMatic20. Don't think they're sending out trial machines though.
Do you engrave and cut with the same head, or you have to switch from 40 w diode to 2 w IR
Sam, I like your video, what I like more is your expertise, that is impressive. I learned a lot in just 22 minutes and fifty one seconds
Awesome, thank you for that great compliment!
Interesting to hear you say you do not do multiple passes. I have found it difficult woods to cut so much better with multiple passes on the S1 40w. Often getting flames if I do one pass. If you still use this machine, how have you found the single pass in the eleven months since releasing this video. Thanks.
Snagged my preorder!! Used your link and promo code thanks for saving me some $$$
Awesome! Thank you! I think you will be very happy with the machine.
Hello, what is the primo code that I can use?
Thank you for a great and very detailed review. Among the best I have seen 👍
How is the charring on this machine when cutting 3mm birch vs on a CO2 laser?
If only it had a camera.
I would choose this machine over the D1 lineup. It is the better machine overall.
Thanks Sam! Nice video as always.👍🏻
Hey Sam, great objective review. A laser in my future I hope and I like the XTOOL line so we'll have to see. I really appreciate your reviews and all your videos that seem to be popping up more and more in my feed.
Thank you Sam! Really appreciate your time!, great job
Totally agree!
Its not possible to fabricate batches of same stuff in one round?
How do you feel as this laser as your first laser? I have been looking at the xtool d1 20 watt laser but am finding that the s1 has more features to it that would be good to have to learn and grow with. Thant you for a great video
If your budget allows, this would make a great first laser! I started my laser engraving business on a much smaller sized and lower power machine. Something like this to start off with would have been amazing.
is there a video you make on how to do a grid?
I have been watching your videos. I really want to get one but have lots of questions. My husband says, "Could you engrave on my wood stocks on my gun, outer parts on my guns, and my ammo mags. I make a lot of crafts on wood and tumblers. I would like to know if I could do any of this with this machine. Before I jump right into it, head first.
Wood & mags: yes. Metals: not without the additional IR module they sell. :)
Great Video Sam - I appreciate those that tell it how it is
I was excited the hear Xtool announce a new laser But for all the reason you mention that turn to dismay - Surely they saw what improvements many user of D1 were adding to make the machine productive
I think a Roly LaserMaster might be my upgrade path appear to be great build quality with useful and well thought out functions also all in one package for the cost of S1 Base Machine
Do you have a test engrave/cut file?
Thanks for the very informative and honest opinions.
If in the UK, i would say save your money, get the Co2 version, in the UK you can't get the feeder set this would have to be imported.
Great review! Thank you
I didn’t hear you say in the review- will this work fine with lightburn or only their software? Thank you for the great review. The floating honeycomb is borderline rage inducing!
It technically will work with Lightburn, but none of the advanced features will. So in my book, it's not really compatible.
Thank you very much. Amazing video !!
Another great video, very informative. Well done 👍
Cheers from Toronto
As a newbie I appreciate your videos so much. Thanks a bunch. This leads me to…..in case I missed it…what cutting and engraving test files did you run? Was it some of your files or the machines file? I ask because mine is to come this week.
I used my own files that I designed, but also sell. :) You can see them here: sam-craft.com
Thanks, when I watched that video I saw it on the wood and acrylic. I’m guessing you run the same ones on the metals or are there additional tabs on your download? Sorry for the additional questions.
As a total newbie, what software should i start to learn with Sam? Great video by the way
If you purchase an xTool machine, stick with their software (xTool Creative Space). It is feature packed and many of the new machines with advanced features only work with the XCS software. Lightburn is the universal standard software, but does not have support for all the bells and whistles found on the new xTool machines.
Use car wax and buff off the scratches (I've buffed off the front of mirror acrylic), then add some transparent self adhesive laminate 👍
Thanks for the tips!
@@Samcraftcom no biggies, thanks to you for the content and ideas ❤️❤️❤️
IIs the centering tool only for the S1?
I need help with the riser base. I’m getting an error and have tried all of the troubleshooting videos.
It may be related to the screws on the left side. If so, check them so that they are put into the correct holes. One is longer than the other.
I wanted to ask, if you are doing batch repeat jobs do you need to repositioning alignment each time?
Not if you mark exactly where your item is and just put the new ones in the same spot. Or use a jig/something taped down to align with the
Thanks for the video. It was helpful 🙏
Looks a fantastic machine 600 mm/s is 36,000 mm/min unbelievably fast!!, its advancing leaps & bounds from their previous products
I was very curious if it would reliably handle that 600 mm/s without skipping teeth or alignment problems too! It did great, to my surprise!
Great review, Sam. Really helpful.
Glad to hear it!
Can you run this laser with light burn? I am new to lasers.
In a very limited capacity yes, but truly it's only worth using xTool's proprietary (but free) software called xTool Creative Space.
Best review yet. Thanks!
Wow, thanks!
How does it do with clear acrylic?
It's a diode laser so it won't do anything. You need a CO2 laser for that.
Great review Sam! Thanks!!
Glad you liked it!
Well done on your review, Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
Excellent review. Thanks 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Is up side down
Who needs a camera when they can buy the great jigs you produce.
Hahaha I should hire you for sales! :)
Do you have a wecreat video?
Not yet, that one is still in the works. :)
Sam can you do batch work with this machine
I haven't found a workflow like the xTool P2 has for auto-positioning of items... yet. Not saying it's not there, just haven't seen it yet. Getting the machine without any documentation was rough! :)
@@Samcraftcom Thanks for all you do . I am only a couple months into the laser world . Been using an orturLm3 20W. looking to now purchase the Xtool F1 for shows and the S1 for shop. I am getting better with Lightburn and was wondering if Creative space is similar. Thanks
If you de-focus your laser when using stainless, you can get a nice deep dark annealed mark you cant feel and it's permanent. Enjoy.
Is that a class 1 diode?
Yes, it is.
You're awesome dude!
if i do pick this up guess i put a clear coat on the outside of the window.
👍😃Danke für das Video
Do I spy a Wecreat Vision back there?
One laser in a crowded laser town. New shop can’t come soon enough.
You've got that right! :) I have plans in the near future to offer up machines I do not keep to my viewers. I'm thinking of an auction listing on my website starting at shipping costs, then letting whatever it sells for be donated to charity. It would be a nice win for everyone involved I think.
Very nice but more than I can afford.
Totally understandable! I started my laser engraving business on a much smaller and cheaper machine.
