yes! totally agree with this! however, i would still like to point out that our lovely trans character in this video was using a binder with a clasp on the side, which i've heard can still be dangerous as it makes the tightness not equally distributed. obvs not an expert at all but i have heard that it's better to buy binders that either have no clasps or if they do, they are somewhere in the middle of the binder. stay safe my friends x

As someone who was born female, has dysphoria and is in the closet, this actually kinda hurts- the way self harm is being promoted to people like me because they don’t feel right, it’s sickening. I don’t have the resources nor money or courage to buy or ask my parents for a binder. I’m constantly teased by family members about how “feminine,” I am.

When I first listened to this song I was closeted and in denial with both my sexuality and gender. Now I listen to it as someone who’s proud to be gender fluid and panromantic-demisexual. It used to make me cry so hard because of how confused and how much I struggled back then. Now it makes me smile and reminds me of how beautiful self discovery is.
