Hey, Michelle. I’ve seen the aqua pots used various times on yt but you’re the first to make me truly see how it works and want one. You’re a great teacher, sweet lady!
Thank you...I have to find an excuse to make a trip to Kentucky so we can meet and I can come see your garden.
Yes ❤️❤️❤️
I love Moss Rose. They were my first plant I bought 20 years ago to start a roof deck container garden. They were sweet and colorful and bloomed all summer. Next year, I went up in May and was disappointed that they hadn't survived the winter. Cleaned out the dead pots and bought/planted more. Next year I didn't get up to roof deck till June. Was I surprised. The entire pot was filled with teeny dots of new moss rose! Never had to buy more as they reseed profusely. But have small roots, so if they pop up where you don't want them, easy to pop out and replant or give away. A wonderful plant.
Great story!!
I have 3 Lady Shalott roses in my garden that I prune to maintain as large shrubs. I also have one trained against a trellis as a climber and has reached all the way to the roof line of my house. Basically once the plant is well established it will throw long canes that you can let go or cut back, depending on how you want to use the rose.
I’ve got 2 LOS to be delivered tomorrow! Cannot wait!!! 😃
Thank you
I love absolutely everything in the cottage garden 😍
I love the apricot colour in the garden. So pretty. Also the gabion tables are very cool. Wow you really packed those succulents in. Very cute planted in the heads.
Love the succulents, etc, in the head planters ! Lovely!
Thanks so much 😊
You are me, and that is why I love your gardening videos. Plus I was pleasantly surprised to learn you are just 45 min. N of me! 😊
I am a succulent lover and think I will do the same with some of my planters. Really enjoy watching your channel. 😊
Thanks so much 😊
The color of your lady of shallot really goes well with the yarrow!! Replacing with the same color I hope? It's all turning out beautiful ❤
Yes...very very close
I love the Cicadas We don’t have them here in British Columbia Canada I’m addicted to your channel 😍Love the heads!
Awesome! Thank you!
When you say stuffed, you mean STUFFED. The heads are wonderful. Yes, the Aquapots will become a super best seller. I will get some as I always have to find someone to water pots when we are away for just a couple of days. Your pragmatism is so welcomed.
Love the head!
The heads are beautiful!! Where do I find a pair of heads? Ha, ha!!
Try a garden center 😀
Love the heads. Gonna try this, thanks!!
Have fun!
Looks beautiful ❤❤❤
Love the heads with succulents. What a WOW!!
😊
I love my single Little Quick Fire. I'd plant more, but deer are a problem here and I can protect ONE. :-) Love your pots and heads and the combinations you chose. Gorgeous!
Thanks
Super cute Michelle, I love those! I have a head similar to those I just may give a try! I normally kill succulents tho, boo! But I’m going to try 😊
SO cute 🎉
Garden looks beautiful! I love Gabion!
I haven’t made anything gabion yet but plan to. This is giving me more ideas!
Oh my !! Those heads look so cool ❤

The heads are so cute! 😁
We’re did you get the heads????
Loved the tables, the pots and the heads!! How the hell do you stand those cicadas??!! Hopefully they will be done soon! Thanx Michelle
They are everywhere.......
Michelle, the heads are perfect for the cottage garden! Love that pastel yarrow. I have the old fashioned white that I am trying to get rid of. It's too tall and spreading!!!
I am going to try some cottontail yarrow....it is also white.
i love them all!!! thanks for sharing.
Glad you like them!
Great ideas! Thanks 😁
Glad you like them!
More great content🌱Thanks!!
Thanks for watching!
I love the aqua pot inserts. I have 8 of them. Still not sure how I ended up with 8 since I only ordered 4 but the other 4 came from another company that I'm sure I didn't order them from. I already had a couple of the original aquapots which I loved. The inserts are great in that I don't have to purchase any more of the heavy ceramic pots and can use pots that I already have on hand. I love the ceramic pots but at this stage of my life, it's getting harder to lift / handle them by myself.
Perfect
Loved how the two heads turned out ! The two pots are beautiful ! I’ve been wanting to plant a hydragea in a pot !
The head pots are fantastic. I need to try this soon. Also love the gabions.
Okay, so now I want a “head”, lol.
Haha......aren't they cool.
Love the heads. I hope that they do well for you. Oh my! Your roses are lovely and I really like that color. Great video.
Thank you so much!
Love the heads. I’m also trying the aqua pot inserts for the first time this year. So far I’m loving them.
Wonderful!
I love my aqua pot inserts! Your tables are great and garden beautiful!
Thanks so much!
Great and inspiring video as usual. The two large pots with the leaf motif design are so lovely. Would like to know where you purchased them from. Thank you for great videos.
My garden store....they came from a lot of pots a couple of years ago..I am not sure who I bought them from.
I wonder if you have ideas for a Head kept in the shade. Love so many things in this video,
Oh yes....you could do living moss and ivy or vinca, maybe even aspargus fern.
Interesting I am looking forward to see how your pots over winter
Me too!
Your cottage garden is coming along nicely. The Lantana is beautiful. We're in a heat wave and drought, so my plants are feeling it. I planted Lantana in a pot but I don't think it's getting enough sun , only morning sun.
They want the heat.
Michelle, I love the heads planted up with succulents. So cute!
The black planter pots look beautiful. I’m confused! I thought that big center area under the lid was supposed to get dirt also??? Oh, could those round shapes fit into any square planters? 😅❤😅
No dirt goes there..that holds your water....and yes if the squares are big enough.
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I was wondering, how are the vine orbs you made doing?
They are great...I just pulled the early spring pansies out and restuffed it with different greens, fuschia and impatiens.
We’re did you find the fabulous head planters????
The David I found at the Klehm Garden Fair a couple of weeks ago and the girl...she was at my garden center...she had a chip so I could not sell her...but she is good enough for me.
Love the heads!!! I have a question: Did you drill holes for drainage?
Eloise..the girl head, already had a hole that had a little plastic plug and I just popped it out...should have shown you...and the david head already had a drilled out hole too.
Put fake succulents in if you don’t have a drainage hole. No watering!!!!
The head planters are so cute! I planted one up in my house in the winter, so I used artificial succulents. Are there drainage holes in those?
Yes
How often will you need to water those heads? Love them.
Not sure as this is the 1st time I have planted them...will check them every 4-5 days.
I love the smiley little girl head planter. Where did you get them?
My garden center
I love the Eloise head planter. Any links to where you found her?
I looked..she might just be available as a wholesale item to retailers....
Love your arbor. Any idea what kind it is?
Plow and Hearth - Montabella Iron Garden Arbor
Absolutely beautiful. Where did you get the heads???
One I found at the Klehm Garden fair 2 weekends ago, and the other was at my garden center.
One, The David, I found at the Klehm Garden Fair a couple of weeks ago, and the other I had at the store
💕💕🎶🎶
I also purchased a Aqua Pot from Proven Winners. Unfortunately, my address was wrong (my error) and the post office wouldn't deliver it. Long story short, I'm still waiting. Proven Winners was sooooooo nice about my error. Great customer service. I'm worried about my arb living through the winter since there isn't as much dirt in the pot when you use the Aqua Pot. Do you have this worry?
It is always a risk to overwinter in a pot.
My hollyhocks get rust-any suggestions???
No. This is my 1st time ever growing them so I have zero experience with them. I am learning as I go on this one.
My Aqua pot inserts have been working great here in South Eastern NC. Just one tip, some of them are keeping the soil too wet if you don't have plants that like a lot of water. My cannas are huge and loving life.
Good to know!
I hear cicadas
Oh yes...they are everywhere
Love your stars and stripes hair scarf!❤🤍💙 I was considering Lady of Shalot as a climber in my garden, but I went with 12ft James Galway instead. When shopping on the David Austin website, I noticed that it lists TWO Lady of Shalot English roses: shrub 5ft tall x 4ft wide AND a short 8ft climber. There's also hedge bundles in the shrub size. I LOVE your Yarrow - the Summer Pastel shouts cottage garden to me as does your Hollyhocks! I feel the same sense of accomplishment growing flowers from seeds. Nothing else like it! Your succulent heads are beautifully whimsical and you've inspired me to do something similar next year for my two porch pots. I have Sedum in my garden already. Moss Roses take me back to my childhood helping my Mom plant flowerbeds. And this year, I found Twister Grass Juncus that definitely looks like Albert Einstein with a spiral perm!
Oh so lucky..I have been looking for that one...none of my growers grow it....
The heads turned out fabulous!
