Hey friends, hope you enjoyed garden decor thrifting with me!🌸🪴💚 Let us know how you repurpose finds for your garden. And as always I appreciate it when you like, share, and subscribe!❤😉
I used to own a husky-shepherd named Buzz who needed long walks every day. Buzz shopped for squirrels while I shopped the alley. It is astonishing what people discard. I would go back out in my pick up truck to collect such treasure. I proudly called such items "Buzz buys". Notable among them are a baker's rack, lawn furniture, assorted terra cotta pots, wood cabinets, a green man sculpture, a roll of landscape fabric of at least 100 yards. Keep your eyes peeled and spare your wallet.
Just looked at this video. My mom had a white kitchen cart on wheels like that red one. It was purchased to hold her Dormeyer mixer. I rememeer it well. ☺
That wool rug was a steal that's for sure! Lovely in your garden house. Beautiful way to stage your fabric pieces, and it coordinates perfectly with the floral wall painting. Love it. We don't seem to have great Flea Markets where I live anymore. There was a gigantic one a few decades ago (acres!) but I didn't appreciate it at the time. Just wasn't at that stage of life where I wanted, or had time, to repurpose items. Now in my mid-70's, I saw so many items as you walked around that I would be interested in! You are wise to be purposely selective when you thrift. It would be so easy to over-shop and get your spaces filled with TOO much! A couple of years ago I picked up a decorative metal 4-tier Bakers Rack that someone had put out at the curb when they were moving. I knew I didn't have a space in my home for it but I knew I'd use it in some way! Spray painted it and have it in the corner of my patio with plants and ivy on every tier. I put it away in the Fall then bring it out in the Spring. Makes a great multi-tier plant stand, and gives me the height I wanted at the back of the patio. ~M~
Great idea Mavis on the bakers rack!🙂 Yes, the goal in the videos is to give ideas on how I could use an item and things I see a viewer may already have that may trigger some inspiration. You most likely won’t see mast hauls from me, I am no longer in that season of life. I am into curating finds now that work in space! Have a great weekend!🌸🙂💚
This was such a fun video Michelle. My recent garden thrift was a large artichoke on a pedestal for $7.00. I repainted it with white chalk paint and dry brushed with black to resemble stone. It’s tucked in with some perennials. Keep inspiring us with your wonderful ideas🪴
The wood table with the metal legs you can actually seal it so that it will stand the weather. I got a table that's for indoors for free. It's in the garage for now. When summer time comes I am going to seal it so I can use it for plants.
Dear Michelle, I’m new to your channel and really enjoying it! Loved coming along with you as you thrifted for the garden. I’m always on the lookout for unique and whimsical additions to my gardens. You have such good taste………I love the little $1.00 wool rug and the colorful pieces of fabric! Your gardens and garden house are beautiful! Thank you for all the wonderful ideas and inspiration. I must say……you have a lovely personality and I enjoy just listening to you. Thanks so much, Jackie🪷
Welcome Jackie, so glad you joined our community! 😁 It is always fun thrifting and seeing all the potential for making our homes and gardens beautiful!🌸💖🪴
Good to know, Laura! I would have never guessed that. My mom and I were talking about thought maybe she would know the use for it. She wondered if you put important papers in it, that’s what I thought too, like an old school wall safe… gloves not as mysterious…lol 😉
Hi Kathy, I hadn’t seen anything like it with the chain on it to make it like a hidden compartment!! 🙂 A place to store hidden treasure… lol…. (very small and lightweight treasure)

I absolutely love everything you found this time. My favourite 25:45 ~ wooden candlestick 🥰👍
Thanks for watching!🙂 yes, the candlestick is very nice. I have seen even more of them recently out thrifting and its a easy repurpose item!🌸💚

You can use antique bone plates and teabag holders as water catchers for butterflies & bees. I set them around my garden & dispersed around in pots
That's a fantastic idea! Using antique items in a functional way really adds charm to the garden while helping our little pollinator friends.😊🌸💚
Just saw this video. My non had a white kitchen cart on wheels like that red one. It came with her Dormeyer mixer. I remember it well. 😊
Thanks for sharing. That is interesting!🙂

I thoroughly enjoyed your video. Thanks for all those wonderful tips.
Glad it was helpful!🙂🌸💚
At age 71 I have literally run out of room for anything else. I’ve thrifted & antique shopped since I was a teen & finally stopped a few years ago.
I hear you Linda!🙂💚🌸
You love it all. Bet you miss the hunt though. I am 71 also and am currently trying to sort out what I don’t love, but it is hard.
@@rebeccazody1278 totally agree the hunt is the fun part!😉🌸💚
Begin to sell some or gift them.

The wool hooked rug was a real bargain!
Thanks Laura, it works well out in the garden house!🌸🙂💚
BEE-STRO.... Woolite foam scrubbed into the rug, let dry and vacuum out.
Thank you for sharing this tip!
The hinged picture was used by ladies to place the their gloves back in Victorian times.

My mom had one of the frame magazine rack…not my style but someone bought it…

For a working plant cloche- I use wire baskets from Dollar Tree. Lasts years and affordable. Great video. Love the ideas.
Great tip, Rebecca! 🙂 Thanks for watching!🌸💚
To expensive
I appreciate your feedback on the pricing.
Yes. Many of the more popular items were too high priced for thrift. There were some bargains among the less obvious pieces.
Agree, it is always a hunt for the bargain you are looking for!😉
