This has been an ongoing complaint of mine. I have considered The Macallan Scotch Whisky as the #1 most pretentious brands in the world. I never buy it any longer because they think more of their product than they should making it a “luxury brand.” However, Macallan 12 year old is about $65 dollars MSRP making it $85 less that that Jack Daniels 12 year old. It is absolutely ridiculous we can get amazing whisky from Scotland in the 12 year range for $50-$70 when American Whiskey thinks this age is worth hundreds of dollars. Not good value. Jack Daniels is little full of itself. Does this make it more pretentious than Macallan now?

The MSRP on Jack 12 is like 90. Jack 10 is about 80. Secondary prices are killing the bourbon enjoyment.

MSRP For Jack 12 is $85 (which is how much I got 2 of them for) and is more than twice as good as Macallan 12
