According to the boss, today is the channels birthday. Unfortunately the channel is absolutely terrified of parties. Having accidentally invited the One Show to their fourth, instead of the Dave. So it asked for this instead.
Something I think I’ve discovered is that Nep is useless, because you get so many consumer goods reductions, with specialization in civ industry, curtailment, rykov, admin reforms, and 100 stab, you actually have -75% cg making it very good just staying on war eco as you have breathing room, it’s honestly stayed op because you get 10 consumer goods without total mob, Stalin can only typically get 14 at best which costs you like 20 civs
There really should not be RNG in certain early game focuses when you're in single player. Anything you'd realistically be doing in 1936-8 should just go in the player's favour the same way Anschluss, Hatay, the Bosporus and Rhineland DMZ, etc. does. If you want to do the coup, you should just be able to do it 100% consistently so long as you do the Infiltrate the NKVD Focus.
Paradox and a vocal minority of the playerbase seem to believe forcing players to restart and play the same early game half a dozen times in order to get playable RNG is actually good game design and makes you a real man or something. It's a lack of self-confidence that requires people to hold their "perseverence" over everyone else's heads.
@@XSpamDragonX As a longtime fan of Shin Megami Tensei, I've seen this mentality for a while. People swore up and down that having a RNG component to teaching your party members moves in a JRPG was what made it "hardcore" and that when they finally went over to a normal system where you can choose what moves you want characters to have it was dumbing it down. This being despite the fact that the hard endgame bosses in Megaten tend to require very specific builds to even be playable.
@@KAPTAINmORGANnWo4eva I've seen two loud crowds of gamers form over the years, those who want to shut their brain off, have the game basically play itself, and receive endorphins from the lights and sounds, versus those who want to turn off their brains, mindlessly force their way through a game by just trying the same thing over and over again until it works, and then feel accomplished because they had to make a time commitment to win. @@KAPTAINmORGANnWo4eva It's simply a case of players delusing themself into thinking that a game has more content than it actually does. If I choose a specific path, e.g. restoring Austria-Hungary, I choose it with the intention of actually getting to play as AH asap, not waste my time on RNG foci.

Soviet Civil war is always nice, just personal preference but I always spawn in the Urals if given the chance since the game constantly bugs out if I go to Arkhangelsk or Leningrad (no supply next to any supply hubs), makes winning a problem
You know, I’ve always had a bad view of the Russian civil war, like if the USSR had ever fallen to civil war, exiles from both left, right, and syncretics in between would have wanted to come back to take advantage like Savinkov, Kazem-bek, Rodzdaevsky, even taboritsky and Nestor Makhno. These people were real and alive, they shouldn’t be excluded because they appeared in some mod people like.
Yeah those people were dead, forgot to exclude them. But my point still stands, I know like a few of them were teetering into irrelevancy but Savinkov and kazembek are two good alternate history candidates. Maybe there could be an alternate path for fascist Russia where Savinkov takes power, or Kazambek takes the reins of the fascist party and becomes leader of it.

Yeah it's not hard, it's time consuming. 210 days burned up for some leaders who can generously be called alright, also skipping the first trial increases the possibility of Rykov dying, which locks you out of admin reforms/the supreme soviet if things go really badly. All while Germany doesn't have to waffle about and is probably in a better position than you already.
@BubblesZest Yeah, you're right. By the way, do you think that opposition trees need to be buffed? Because "Factionalism" national spirit is horrendous, when want to return democracy to the party.
