    Great to see it was just the head gasket gone. Wow on the hole in the bell housing. At least it as not the gearbox going bang. Take care

    Got the same issue on my 3.2 ranger egr cooler then head gasket blown, it looks a big but I’m going to have a go at it myself. Great video and keep up the good work mate 👍🏼

      Cheers man yeah get stuck in man, I've got injector clacking now, gona replace injector bolts tomorrow didn't realise they was stretch bolts

      There’s always something aint there,.I’m gonna pull it into the unit and get started on it next week hopefully. I’m not in no rush but how long did it roughly take you to strip it and put it back it together ?

      @cos358 can be stripped in a day and put back in a day bud
      Mines got piston slap now so I'll be pulling it out soon lol

      @@MRMSpeedShop thanks mate you work fast, I’m used to working on old motors so these new cars are like starting all over again lol sorry to hear about the piston slap I’ve been to some mechanics and they these can be a nightmare once the head gasket goes, cracked heads and all sorts 😡

      Yeah I'm learning about these engines now too lol
      I'm trying to buy a 2nd hand one I can rebuild and then swap.

    Chipping away at it mate. Hope u got ur sons car sorted. Also was surprised that the Ranger is a 5 pot throught they was a 6. Defo not bored by the ranger strip down ect very interesting. Have a good 1 mate 😎🙏👊✌👍

    Had same with my ranger but head ended up cracked in 3 places, blanked egr and cooler off when I rebuilt it nothing but trouble
