I wasn't familiar with Walter Schubin’s talks, to be honest, but it sounds interesting. As to talks on the fine balance between high- and lower-level imaging, I wish I had a recommendation but I can't think of anything. @@IllusionSector I misspoke , his name is Mark Schubin . I came across one of his presentations about two years ago when I began my quest to learn more about resolution, light , color and contrast . What a fascinating rabbit hole I have fallen into . You can find his material under Schubin Cafe and SMPTE . It’s wild how hidden this crucial info is. Thanks for the Astro video . Even though I have zero interest in Astro , microscopy , or machine vision - I have learned a ridiculous amount of stuff from perusing those worlds . The optical filters used in astro photography are fascinating- as is the principle of dark frame averaging . Mind blown
