Even tho im from America my grandpa's parents are form UK and i was able to grow up with these controllers and i used to tell everyone i want to use the colorful ones not the purple lol and no one cared so i was lucky at least. Just bought my switch one
I go back and forth on which one I like better. I was a nerd growing up and always had to be different so of course, I had a super famicom instead of a Super Nintendo so I’m extremely nostalgic for the four colors and the alternate console build, but the two purples are very nice looking and from time to time I have a phase where I like them better. I do like the concave X and Y buttons though.
That would mean technically downloading the games onto your system, and if you did that, you would be able to get rid of your subscription without getting rid of the games. People could get subscriptions solely for the games, download them, and cancel the subscription to get the games for free.
@@MechaDragonX I think that could be fairly easily bypassed with some modding. I think the way they should do it is make virtual console titles available as paid games, and offer them for free if you own a year-long Nintendo online membership.
@@yassou9007 wouldn't the SN30 pro 2 still give you nostalgia since it uses similar buttons and unlike my official SNES controller from back in the day the buttons are not strangely far apart.
I don’t know why but I love when you and vinnk have your assistants on the show!
Well done, Sean! Love seeing new videos!
This was a good video. Can't wait for more content during all of this Craziness around the world. Keep up the good content!
I have so much additional respect for you seeing that you're using Pixel Perfect over 4'3 stretched
I’m still upset that the CRT filter is only in 4:3 😢

Check with my parents actually they were form England
We hope you are enjoying it!
This is the SNES controller variant I prefer over the North American variant. I plan to own this as part of the road to Tokyo 2020!
I agree, it looks way better. Sucks we just got a bland purple.

Ah, using the _best_ Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver. They've got good taste.
Do you mean 11 or 12
Must have!
would the japanese super famicom controller work on american switch? @Famicom Dojo
Absolutely - that’s exactly what you’re seeing going on in this video.
@@SeanOrange I’m from the US. How can I buy one of these?
@@NeonRuffian1111 Check out Vinnk’s Japan Retro Direct site, and ask him if he can track one down if it’s not in stock.
Amazing
I want to see what happens if I try to buy this as a North American user, can you give the link to it?
You can see if Vinnk will be able to track one down for you: japanretrodirect.ocnk.com/
Excellent!
I wish we can play NES/Famicom and Super Nintendo/Famicom Offline than just Online. Like the Virtual Console before it. 😒

@@godofthecripples1237 They could also allow downloading and make it require a subscription to use. A simple check.

@@godofthecripples1237 A lot of these things can be bypassed with modding and they have their own things to counter it, but that's a good idea.
You can play it offline. It only need to use the internet after the your subscription ran out to see if you have continued the subscription or not.
Nice Sonic screwdriver. Kid a doctor fan? Hope all is well and you're having fun at home
Did I miss the famicom multi sitetab episode?
does it work on PC ?
I think the website says it does, but I haven’t gotten it to work.
I don't get what the appeal of this thing is when you can get one with handles and joysticks. Just google sn30 pro +
Ik im 3 years late but the appeal is mainly nostalgia ig

It's out of stock:(
Bummer!!
