Good video. Unless you have a manual transmission, or a 700R4 (or earlier TH350, 400, Powerglide, etc.) non-electronic trans., the only other thing you must do is use a TPS sensor kit on the carburetor butterfly shaft so the transmission will shift. That would mean your computer is still hooked up, but only used as a transmission shift module. Holley makes the kit for $175, but on my conversion I made my own bracket and used the stock Chevy TPS plugged in to the factory harness.
I'm trying to swap tbi for a carb , so far looks simple but I have a question, if anyone can help . When I swap the factory distributor for the hei , do I need to make sure my engine its on tdc or it doesn't matter

Yes this is true. I forgot to mention that most of the ones I've done have the older 700r4 no electronic trans
THANKS BRO ✌🏾
Nice explanation.
Curious about the part number for the throttle linkage/ throttle valve cable you're using. Thanks
I don't know the part number it came off another build I did a few years ago

Yes make sure it's on tdc on the #1 cylinder then install distributor pointed at the #1 on the distributor
