I want WSM to succeed, but accessibility is the name of the game nowadays and they aren’t at the same level as their competitors.

No way the numerous fans who want to see it would make you less money than airing it on TV months after it’s happened. Plus you’d actually have happy fans for a change

The thing is that those brittish fans who are big enough fans to pay for a PPV will actually still watch it on TV at christmas because it's strongman on tv! So the bbc (or whoever broadcasts it) won't even lose viewers
WSM is a show, it has always been about the show and not the competition. The have a hefty contract on the broadcasting right spreading several years. No company would ever buy the rights for those amount of money if it's already been aired. TWI and IMG Media cares more about the money.
Sadly, I prefer to watch the old WSM contests from the 80s, 90s and 2000s. Better productions, more charismatic athletes and exotic locations. I've been to three of the competitions starting in 2008. 2023 in Myrtle Beach was terrible. People were bringing ladders so they could see the competition. Back in the day, we had meet and greets and the athletes were approachable. I sat in a coffee shop at Wingate University with Magnus Ver Magnusson and Svend Karlsen. Different times.
Why not upload it as soon as it happens or after a small amount of delayed time? These uploads which are uploaded after several months don't make sense in today's world even if you are bound by TV contracts. That medium is fading fast. Such delayed uploads won't garner any new viewers.
Tgey have air time for interviews but they can't show all the runs in each event!! Come on priorities!! We want to watch them compete not get a recap on half the competition!!
I've lost so much interest in strongman due to how poorly it's aired.... Shaw, Hall, and the stoltman brothers carried the sport by posting on their own channels. But with them gone/posting less. Its completely lost interest. Hopefully Thor can save it and get these horrible TV deals fixed

Of course I'd rather it be live streamed, but I'm still enjoy watching it whenever it comes out. If these kids don't Like it than move onto whatever other sport is trending, you just got here, you aren't that passionate about the sport so stop demanding it change because your nubie azz wants to see it. Wsm makes more money with network deals than they ever would streaming, every comps dream would be a network deal, but no show is nearly as big as wsm.
The viewing experience for like literally any other big Strongman show is significantly better. There is surely some economic incentive behind it, but at some point you do have to consider the fan experience. I don't like how they cut lots of events.
