When we make a coast run for the day we go to Newport. You were right camped pretty much next door to Hatfield Marine Science Center. My girls love going to see the public displays area.

We almost went to see that, but decided to just have some down time. It looked awesome though!

“You can tell you’re homeschooled” 😂😂😂 Love it! One of the best parts of homeschooling is that they get to actually use their imaginations. Good job, mama!

I love the Oregon coast. It's so pretty. I hope you got to stop at Cannon Beach. You would love all the little shops and the beach.

We didn’t, sadly. We had to move on. But we loved driving through all the cute little sea towns!

Newport Oregon is a beautiful area! I love the Oregon coast! Miss it so much! Oregon is like a larger version of TN! Bigger mountains and trees, whereas TN has older mountains and smaller trees now. Both beautiful, both loved by me!! Bee blessed Danny and Rita in TN on Rooster Ridge

I’ve always wanted to see TN! We can’t wait to get out there.

Coming back to comment, you know you can get the best of both worlds by choosing Michigan to live in... The great lake state. Only land locked by the southern boarder, basically mini oceans, lol. The UP and west side are my recommendation *wink wink*

Ben keeps telling me the lakes are like big oceans! Now that Idaho was kind of a bust (more on that later), we’re really looking at other states.

Will and I think we would like it knowing someone living in Idaho, Washington, Utah, Montana, Oregon or Colorado. Your kids are perfect by the way. Beautiful scenery.

One more thing I was going to ask Greg. I was down at the place I bought my trailer and a guy brought his in with some bad bearings. Just wanted to make sure Greg has "bearing buddies" on the trailer so he can grease the wheel bearings now and then. If you don't you might wanna have them checked❓‼️ Sorry I worry about you kids‼️‼️‼️❤️❤️❤️

Ben (not Greg, but now I want to call him Greg haha!) just greased and oiled everything yesterday. He’s a machinist by trade, so thank goodness he knows how to take care of things to make them last! Thank you for worrying about us! ❤️

I’ve lived in Michigan my whole life - surrounded by water - no way could I be more than a few hours away from a large body of water. NC at least has the ocean - maybe not close to the Asheville area, but doable;)

It is close enough for my heart! I don’t think I could be land locked.

You could always move near the Great Lakes. Lake superior has beautiful beaches, and not too many people up here.

My wife's loves to go to the beach but I like to load up and take the trailer over the mountains into eastern Oregon and truly dry camp. We know where we can go and pull down by a Creek and camp where nobody else is around!!! That was why we have a big holding tank and take lots of water in the trailer. Hope you guys enjoyed Oregon. You probably didn't get a chance but ai wish you could've seen Multnomah Falls that is eat of Portland. Anyway thanks as always and be careful❤️✋😊😊❗️‼️

There was so much more we wish we could have seen! But I have a feeling we’ll be back to visit. We love Oregon, it’s so beautiful! And we love the mountains too, I’m starting to change from needing the ocean.

Funny story about being homeschooled amd using their imaginations ; when we were at the pool the other day Henry was using his hand as a camera and talking to it. His parents must be vloggers .

Meg, have you found that you have less stress/anxiety when out in the country/mountains/ open spaces? That's always the case with me, my anxiety goes away when I'm in the great open spaces away from the congestion of suburban life.

I can be a people person if I have to, but I need a break after a bit. And I would be ok with going back to Willow Creek!!
