Oh man I'm having flashbacks to Ark and locking people up in cages with handcuffs on. Force feed them and they were litteraly screwed for the whole wipe if you couldnt negotiate your way out.

I wish they'd lower the distance you can build near train tracks and roads so you can build right up next to them. this will allow us to drive vehicles onto rail cars with ease.

Reference to an interrogation scene in... I think Three Kings? They interrogate/torture an Iraqi army guy by tying him up, shoving a CD case in his mouth and waterboarding him with crude oil
Seismic sensor is sick. Imagine placing 4 spread out evenly around your base and opening garage doors with turrets on the side of the base that the sensor detects an explosion
Or sends a "close all doors" signal incase the "team" leave the doors open on a farm run.

still waiting for a chicken coup where you can catch chickens in the wild, put em in coups, get out eggs and then use to cook T2 food items...
Well that will probably be a feature but i don't expect that getting implemented this year

I've never played rust, I don't even own a pc. But I love the game and I love watching it played.
I still play now and then as I want to keep familiar, but don't have friends anymore that just want to have fun.

In terms of QOL,
For the love of god, make us be able to close/open a garage door when it's already closing/opening, I find myself in the situation of having to wait till the doors are fully closed/open SO many times. For example when a teammate is closing the door behind you on accident, etc.
Also, while we're at it, some things I'd love to see are:
- HMLMG Skins
- Helicopter Skins
- Being able to grapple out of the Scrap-Heli
I feel like that would make them a bit over powered.

@@heyitsmushu7393 That is a very specific scenario which I cannot see actually happening in a real raid.
You could also make it, so that you could only cancel the opening/closing of the garage door when It reaches 50% of it's travel distance.
Wouldn't get you that (Very questionable) advantage of shooting someone's toenails off, while still being better in a QOL way.
What a time to be alive.
Seismic sensors are really interesting imo. Could be lots of use cases. C4 blasts can send out alerts. Only open turret doors in certain circumstances. Auto door shut on trigger.
Can also use it as an alarm trigger by placing mines around your base, nothing says it has to be enemy explosions
They should add a train pump cart along with the bikes...
(Those cards from the wild west that needs 2 people pushing a lever in the middle to go somewhere)
Most of the assets needed are already in the game so if they have someone who knows what he is doing it should take 2 days max with testing included..
But yeah they can't sell that in a pack so doubt it's ever gonna happen
How would the pump-cart get around trains already on the tracks? I don't see them allowing us to push locomotives and carriages with a pump-cart.
That's the point, imagine getting in your locomotive and steamrolling nakeds on pumpcarts

some of these QoL features could've been included before the game left Alpha in my opinion, but it's good that we finally have them!
This is why I think most players have a 'love/hate' relationship with the Rust Devs. They do so many great things that most other Devs have never done, but at the same time they leave bugs and other QoL issues in the game for years and years.

let us not forget that over half of the updates facepunch pushed out contained pay to win content, or just outright made the game worse.

5 seconds is too short for handcuffs. For them to be viable for some fun, they need to take like 15 seconds minimum and make noise when the prisoner is trying to escape.
Or can’t break out at all cause who’s actually breaking out of handcuffs
Imma be honest I don’t really see a point in having cuffs at all. It’s already a pain to get to the player, loot him and finish him without getting grubbed or shot at.

By explosives, they mean all things sulfur. Even sulfur ore won't go into the tc.

Backwards horsewalking! (SLAMS DESK) They just broke my super safe horse farm meta! (Which they very much should have,tbh). Just get 20-30 horses hard stuck at outpost, nobody can raid outpost lmao
Does the salvaged hammer deal more damage to TC's as well?
0:55 allot of people will use it, because some players enjoy to use their brains on a game, not just pvp and be an absolute macho man AKA chad. I like the pvp, I love the snowball, but i really love rust for things like teas (i wish they were buffed and made more relevant), electricity, building smart bases and industrial stuff. If all i cared was pvp, i would be playing CoD.

Wtf is the point of the cuffs if they can just take them off after holding left click for 5 seconds? Don’t even bother adding them then. I don’t care if people get trolly you should be able to keep people hostage for at least 3-5 minutes. Like come on this is rust. Smh.

I’ve played ark I’ve been held captive for 2 months with forced feeding and watering cuffs and hoods are not a good option if you can’t f1 kill while in them
Sooo clans are now getting a propper offline raid alarm that will detect all explosives .... great. Seismic Sensor + Smart Alarm + Discord plugin.
I wish randomly generated earthquakes were a thing. Earthquakes that could possibly damage your base depending on where you build
I really hope you can’t F1 kill when you’re wearing cuffs, or there’s zero actual kidnapping potential
Seismic Sensor, buffing my landmine trap base... As soon as the trap is triggered the doors all instantly closed :D
Watched all this almost a week ago on Drizzza's channel almost a week ago, before the patch actually dropped.
The only thing I don't like is sulfur and gp not allowed in TCs anymore. Just has become habit now for me.
We need ghost building blocks like in Factorio, this way you can know whether your build will fit in the terrain or is high/low enough before building.

I feel like all these "QOL" changes just deminish the main difference that made rust appealing: how raw it was.
imo seismic sensors are only good for zergs or people who build crazy bases by the time someone’s shot a rocket at your 2x2 there in before you can login and load up wait in queue etc
Don’t see many ppl using cuffs or hoods unless a role play server. Usually too many grubs to worry about to even have time to cuff..
An optimization update is sorely needed. My frame rate did not change one bit playing on a computer 10 years old and one with all the latest parts.
I like that composter accepting bone fragments now... Huge win for farming and some side scrap

The seismic sensor may as well be called the sam site sensor. It gives more false alarms than anything else. I recycled it.

Watch for level 2 or 3 explosive against base using the distance... move loot. You're going to have to take multiple bases now. Loot ends in a suicide-bunker to just make sure you don't get it lol.
