Wanted a place to put all my childrens' and grandchildrens' art creatures
Still learning to use Etsy for new books and will soon have down loads for patterns for books similar to this one. I am working on them now.
This is is whimsical & fantastic. I love that you have included art from your children & grandchildren!! Those mermaids and tentacles were my favorite. Really delightful. 🌻🍁🍄
Don't you dare repeat this to anybody ever, but that is absolutely, hands down, THE BEST, the cutest, the most AMAZING junk journal I have ever seen. I'm pretty sure if I got something like that as a gift, I'd squeal like a baby pig with total unabashed glee. It's just AWESOME. I LOVE overly bright and colorful things like that, they are magical and anyone who can create something so bright and happy has to be a magical spirit as well. When you mention your grandkids I can hear it in your voice, you are a special person. I'm so glad this showed up , it kinda made my day a bit brighter. Thanks for sharing. I know Im for years behind here but just saw this video and am blown away! Im finishing up in a journal I've been working on for years and trying to decide what I will make next. You just decided it for me! I love the bright colors and the of page sizes and shapes abs all the fun page edges. I don't have any grandchildren so will think of another theme for my book but you're one lucky lady to have all those grand kids making you their special art! Thank you for inspiring my next project!

It’s inspired me to do similar with my grandchildren’s drawings! Also I love colour, not so keen on the vintage junk journals which most seem to be. Now I have the inspiration to actually start a whimsical junk journal of my own, thank you 😊

Me too but sometimes I cant put theirs in the book so I make it larger of something so the art work can go back to parents

I agree... children's art is the most precious art of all! Love what you are doing with the grand's art work. I did one page in a journal, quite a while ago, based on a dinosaur drawing that my son had done many years ago. I think it was prompted by something that Danny Gregory (Sketchbook Skool) had said. Thank you. I did 2 or 3 tutorials if you want to watch. I've been sick and down for the most part but got some meds to help so I want to work on this after all my Christmas projects. foxy and the cupcake are from a video game (five nights at freddy's). he did a really good job on those, that was crazy! the mermaids and other pictures are also really good you can tell what the art is. there is def a lot of artistic talent in your family!
Yep the grandson that made those love those video games. Good kids. My own Children are always saying that I cursed the grandkids with my creativity. lol. Its just not a curse.
