I used to fish the tip at night during the late 90's. Korkers, 2 oz bucktail jigs / 6" plastic grub or live eel (sometimes a black / purple long A Bomber). Pulled in some nice ones. Best I've seen pulled in there was 45-50" bass. Loved it. Great channel. Sub'd.
2-3 OZ Jighead. Buy the eels and grab one with a small towel. Knock it out with something so that if won't constantly curl on you. Push hook thru the head and it lays limp. Fish bouncing jig off bottom.@@bige1228.
Not fishing bottom it’s 100+ feet in the middle of the inlet you’re fishing a ledge and old bridge pilings is what you’re feeling I fish out there jus as much if not more I see you all the time 🤙🏾

Nice job 👍🏻 Are you hitting the bottom or dragging on the bottom ? How do you know what weight buck tail to use ?
Hit the bottom then start jig , if your not hitting the bottom then use heavier,I use 1 1/2 oz - 2oz,
