Good Job handling that Osprey. Those talons are no joke. That jetty is no joke either. I have scars to prove it. Those were some nice blues. I hope someday I can get back out there like I did back before marriage and kids. My wife doesn’t like the beach unfortunately. Lake fishing for pike, walleye, and Muskellunge is fun but I really miss the ocean. The Chesapeake bay is not the same experience either. Too many damn jellyfish.
You know, with just the right amount of garlic and a low temperature, those Ospreys are really tasty! Guarantee it'd taste better than the bluefish... heck, that SP Minnow would taste better than the bluefish!
To each their own I guess. I love bluefish as long as it is super fresh and bled out properly. Look up the Ikejime method for handling fresh caught fish.

Grats on the gators. You Jetty bros are wild
Great ending. So for everyone who didn’t know what to do in that situation. Now you know what to do.

Too dangerous on that jettie. Guys have died at this location. I would get on the beach with a 12 ft surf rod. Much safer.
