26.38 seconds that’s my bmw behind the white prius. I was the fella struggling with my mental health that day I was the one who posted 3 weeks ago that I seen Daniel in Picadilly driving towards me and I was so excited that I wasn’t having a particularly good day mentally and seeing him completely change my day and put a massive smile on my face he gave me the 2 thumbs up 👍🏻 from his window. Arrr man got my self well me car in ashville weekly.
Watching Daniel’s journey from the start always in the yard and concerned about operational issues and slowly seeing him transition into a more “hands-off” leadership style is so refreshing. Hopefully he’s able work from home sometimes to make high level decisions which in turn gives him freedom of time and chances to “switch off” and enjoy other things in his life
In case you didnt know -The site in Maidstone under the railway arches does have 2 other means of access. One round passed NWK crossfit and the other opposite Jewsons under the offices.
Morning Daniel, Suggestion: Could the space under your silver Ashville sign near your desk PC screen to your left-hand side house your Modern Railways framed magazine article? If not, as you say save it for one of your two new Olympic offices. Glad to hear further from your surgeon that he’s happy with your shoulder progress. Please be patient so normality can resume as you would like. So proud to be one of your loyal subscribers. Have a good rest of the day and upcoming week. Take Care😊❤
Oh Michael is hilarious , first time I’ve ever laughed out loud at a comment on RUclips “what would you make the statue out of ............. Gold 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. What a star
The height limit for an arch bridge is the minimum point of the bridge plus tolerance. If the cab is within height restrictions, you should be able to get the crane within the arch void(classed as being above bridge height as it wouldn't fit a full vehicle). Definitely do it on a case by case basis though.
7:40 this is a great point for anyone running lorries etc - checking the night before is a wise move. If I know I'm driving the same vehicle tomorrow I'll check it all over at the end of the day, because if a bulb has gone or an air leak has developed during the day it's better to know the night before than find it at 6am the next day. Things can get sorted overnight and no one loses a beat. I hated working for firms where everything gets done in the morning, so much time gets wasted messing around. Diesel, loading, washing, printing our delivery paperwork etc should all be done the night before whenever poss so in the morning driver turns up, does his defect checks and gets going! Remember if the wheels ain't turning then we're not earning!
Daniel, this is the third weekly sign you announced there was news but no details - there have been comments about an article in a modern railways magazine looking forward to hearing the news you and the article alluded to. As I don’t read that magazine would be interested to hear the plans you have.
We've used a telehandler and a 13tonne machine for offloading tonne bags in restricted areas from a flatbed using pallet forks or 4 leg chains on the machine and a bag lifter or forks on the telehandler. Either option useful depending on heights and widths etc.
For bulk bag delivery in confined spaces you could use a man and an electric pallet fork like a grocery store or a miniature forklift and the roll on/roll off. Would be time consuming but could solve the issue.
I was on HMS Glasgow in 1980 in the Caribbean ,after Hurricane Allen hit Saint Lucia in August we docked on the island and started disaster relief as island was hard hit one of my best memories is handing out chocolate and sweets to the children.the islanders were really nice people and couldn’t thank us enough
Just seen your vid for the first time, seems a little stress two weeks ahead and the editing style i rate that, got a good team around you too it seems love to see it! Anyways take care man.
another awesome video...question: where did you get the article framed like that? (I need to do the same, cant seem to find anyone who does it. Thanks in advance)
My wife said you should have financed with Daimler Truck Financial Services next time - they would have given you a VAT deferral so no payment until you received from HRMC 😊
That triangular blind, would it work better to fix the roll to the bottom and have it pulled upwards to close? Can be cut into the triangular shape to fit and achieve blackout. Locate the cables so their hidden against the window frame mullions/grilles when its open.
Love the 300 hundred messenger shout silly news haha buzzing to see in the other video you got your new site green light to move in.god loves ha4d workers Daniel spot on 👌👍
If the role on role off is on airsuspensions. Just lower it as far as you can manually with the controller. You usually get about 10cm extra clearanse.
Love the way you treat your employees I ask the lads to do this and that not (am the boss I tell them to do this and that) respect mate all bosses should be like you pal 👍
I did not realise how heavy u actually are but wow ur some business man mate u should do pod cast on how to make it successfully in the construction industry and where to start
I'd love to see you on the road for a day or operating some machinery within the yard. Iknow you have your HGV licenses, but do you have all of the required tickets for all the machinery that operates in your yard? Or do the regulations require you to have the tickets as the business owner?
Hello. I am from Western Australia home of the worlds longest train. 7.3 km. I have often thought we need a michale Donovan statue in the Main Street. 👍
Hi Daniel, I run a high pressure exterior cleaning business out of Uxbridge which isn’t far from the yard - doesn’t hurt to shoot a shot so let me know if you think I could be of use! Thanks 🙏
Daniel! I’m a plasterer by trade and watching your men dot and dab pains me. You need a solid dab around the perimeter of each board to help reduce airflow around the hollow behind. It’s all to do with the air test they do at the end of the project. You should look into it
Suggestion. Make Terry CEO. Leaves you to make the company, I've watched by following you forever, huge even bigger! Your tire fellow is a star and should be on video much more, as should Sir O'Donovan! I'm loving watching your bonkers journey Daniel! Best from me Down Under Middle Earth!
"A Rhinoceros is a FAT unicorn" - Daniel Louisey, business man of the year 2024
What does a unicorn mean though?
Pretty much word for word what I was going to comment 😂😂
In this context I would guess it means a rarer piece of machinery making their line up unique and more diverse. @@KhalidAlawi
@@firewaffle1 Thanks for clarifying mate
He doesn't half make you laugh.
Forget just Business Man of the Year 2024, lets have him as PM.
Good to see Mr Michael O'Donovan again. He is always value for money!

Just like to say your tyre fitter is a great worker🎉maybe a unsung hero of the yard!

Twelve and a half pence I think
1:22 that edit was on point. its those lil things that separate the greats from the average.
Let Terry manage the yard every day, his 100% capable and make him a full director! Workers like Terry are gold dust!
Gold dust yh comes and nicks company adblue😂
Come on let’s see more of Terry running the yard and the drivers😀😀😀
Terrys a top top lad.Had first hand experience with him. He runs the show.
Everybody needs a Michael O’Donovan in their lives he’s a funny man 😂
Daniel you look healthy. Says a lot considering your responsibility, admirable. VERY
Thanks for these eps
In case you didnt know -The site in Maidstone under the railway arches does have 2 other means of access. One round passed NWK crossfit and the other opposite Jewsons under the offices.
As someone whos on the project at 21:10 and been part of the club for 10+ years we have always struggled with access but never the less we find ways
Daniel you need to get your mum on this vlogs more often, she is hilarious
Agreed
🤣🤣🤣 how can you not love Michael O’Donovan Love it when his winds Daniel up for a joke 🤣👊🏾
It's always a pleasure watching Ashville weekly, Daniel is a true leader and have a good team behind him to prosper. Love from Cape Town SA

You could always fix the picture frame temporarily to the ceiling so when you are laying on the sofa you can look up at it 😂
My immediate thoughts was....the bathroom/ shower room in the office!!! 😂😂😂😂
1:23 Nicely done editing team 🙌🏻 3:07 When you've had so much press coverage that you run out of wall space for the articles 😎

For the railway bridge job, you could use your roll on roll off or DAF flatbed and your forklift from the yard
Don't think he has the DAF anymore

On your yard cursory walk do you carry a magic wand ' MAGNETIC ' ?

Good early Sunday morning. It's Ashville time and I'm lying in.
Such a fantastic watch. Dan’s comments on Gary Speed brought a tear to my eye.

For the low height delivery can you send the flatbed, bags and then one of the hire diggers that can lift the bags by the handles?

Deliver bulk bags on low loader with suitable mini digger? Or tele'. Or half fill bags to match lift capacity?

am waitin for the stand alone video about the container garage in st lucia.....plz
i thought dot and dab wasnt a very good adhesion process because of the voids inevitably left behind whatever you're attaching?
That only applies to surfaces you walk on and heavy wall tiles.

With the low height delivery
Can’t you deliver the bags with the flatbed then hire a road forklift or Moffat to deliver them
I think you have been more than patient with HMRC,time to send in the sheriff’s.
How good is Michael O’Donovan though…’😂 love his banter

Controversial 😅😅. We love Terry. His relationship with Daniel is lovely to see. Daniel trusts him
Excellent content Mr D
Fantastic team to be fair
Where does skip waste go?
you could deliver the bulk bags with a flatbed and moffet forklift
How was in charge of the sand should been monitored
Take a flat bed tipper with you and your grab then offload onto tipper bosh
You definitely need a gold statue of Sir Michael O'Donovon.
In the entrance of Ashville yrd
Once he gets the OBE.

Oi 1:23 is on point with that edit.
Not the wheel wash going straight back on to dirty mud to just dirty up the wheels again before leaving the yard 😅
You could hire a smaller grab like a transit with a grab on it to meet u there at the entereance and him ferry them threw the arch :)

Make Terry CEO.

Could you not put the bulk bags in a skip and use skip lorry? 🚛
Get a forklift that can be on a truck for delivering to difficult places that truck won’t fit too.
Cant wait to to watch the standalone video of you buying that private jet mate,we all know its gonna happen
