I love the What if…? issues. I love how they end with sad endings/bad situations. Kind of showing you that no matter how devastating or tragic that things happened in the real 616 continuity, that that is the way things were supposed to happen. Otherwise, as you see in these What if…? issues, you get a butterfly effect that messes up EVERYTHING. Such beautiful poetry in that concept.
I was totally going to buy it but thanks to this review is a pass for me. The lack of issue -1 is unforgivable. It they plan to include it in volume 3 because of its release date it will be completely nonsense
Thanks Omar. Had this on pre-order for months. With this and Marvel Age coming out it’s a real nostalgia fest. Good that there are some unusual Omnis coming out
Can't wait to get my hands on this, the memories :) Getting the Iron Man cover because i remember picking that up off the rack when it came out. it was my introduction to what if
Great review Omar. So like you this is also my era of comics. I'm a bit older than you and started to collect in 1984 myself. Cant wait to get this and the Marvel Age you did yesterday. Damn next year around summer time 40 years of this hobby. Time flies.
My favorite part of this overview was hearing you share your stories about your brother and how you enjoyed comics together! Thanks for sharing! And, yes, I have this pre-ordered!
What If was amazing and the issues were all very cheap in the quarter bins at my local comic shop. Since the stories are almost always contained within one issue the series was a great buy for me as a kid.
Such a great point. I've always loved alternate universe/multiverse type stories but now they're overused and they usually aren't character driven, which is largely what made them so interesting in the first place.
As a kid who only sparingly got to pick out used comic books when my dad took me to the local comic store, I always loved them because they were nice self-contained stories that didn’t require me to catch up on a arc of issues I’ll never read.
Can't walt to get this, definitely my era of What If. So many great stories, especially the x-men ones, absolutely love the Wolverine, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Inferno issues.
Do they ever do a "happy ending" with the What If comics? How about "What if Scott and Maddie stay married and live happily ever after? Would love to see that.

I was totally going to pass but you’ve convinced me.
Same here. I think im going to get this now
Same… I guess that’s why marvel works with him lol

It's Omar Super Power 😅
@@guillermojacum7014Better that than it being an orphaned issue

I would LOVE an omnibus of X-Men What If? stories.

I have had this sitting on my wishlist at in stock trades since March!
I don’t think I’ve ever read the second What If series. I’ll have to check this out.
My favourite what if run
Im def getting this! The Iron man and Spiderman symbiote stories sold me!
I just realized u use red for marvel and blue for dc books in background for ur thumbnail. Clever😂
I can’t wait to get mine!!
I’ve been eagerly waiting for this review all week thanks
I can't wait to get my copy (standard).
YEP ❤, these were my h.s. era .. I GOT 2 GET THIS & VOL 2

I love this series so much. I've been looking forward to this book coming out since it was first announced and I'm so happy it's finally here.
Our third What If Omnibus!
I've never read this run, so I look forward to these tales. And we should ask ourselves. . .
*What If.*
Finally!!! Getting the DM, got the other What If? Omnis, hope the TV series keeps going.
Back when alternate universes were a storytelling device and not a plot device.
Such a great point. I've always loved alternate universe/multiverse type stories but now they're overused and they usually aren't character driven, which is largely what made them so interesting in the first place.
Jonathan Hickman's New Ultimate Universe seems to go into that direction. Separate, fully fledged stories instead of crossover fodder
Was able to get this book today on sale.
Very happy.
The Punisher/Daredevil/Spider-Man issue was CRAZY
Love your review, Omar! The wrap around cover of the book is EXCELLENT!!!!! Thanks!!!
I love what if/ multiversal alternate stories

Great video, great stories, great artwork. :) I will buy this I'm sure :)
Total day 1 purchase. I love What If stories. Fun to go to the dark side every now and again.
@ThatYellowSpiderGuy x-men, naturally

Must buy for me.
What IF Epics please!!!
I second this😁
@@stephentheshywarrior2759I third this !!
Why did I buy all the previous What if? Omni's? To get to these.
'lets look at the flaps first'
Definite buy.
Valentino!
How did they manage to keep the Conan issue in there? 🤯
Arnold the Librarian approved it!
This was ready before the license loss
Are the stories in the omnibus understandable as a standalone if I never intend to read their complete series?
Often, page 1 will feature The Watcher recapping the main series details relevant to the story.
Pass for me

Nice film👍
Passy boom ba lassy
What if Disney don’t buy marvel ?
I think was an interesting story to read .
That would be interesting. We've had good stories post-Disney but man, I'm tired of the movie-comic synergy
@@mawinstallation6626 you are so dam right .
