Robert and Heather have both expressed an interest in returning to Elm Street. We will see Freddy again and I hope its Englund and Heather. We need a great script and director to make it disturbing again. Halloween 2018 did really well and its time for Freddy again. If we get Englund and Heather and great script and scary scenes with great story and dream scenes, then it has a brilliant chance. it needs to be terrifying though and not stupid
In another panel that I've covered of Robert. He said he mostly retired playing Freddy is because old and he's not agile and fast as he used to be, he wants to do his own stunts, not a stunt double.
With the technology we have today he could still do everything he wants to do as freddy. I mean freddy isn't just a character. Robert is Freddy is Robert. You can't have one without the other. Yea I'm sure somebody else might be able to play freddy and he might even play him pretty good and make it entertaining and they could probably make decent money at it. But nobody can ever take roberts place as the real elm street slasher.
@@Chaingun he has played many roles and done great things with those roles. But he will always be freddy krueger. That is the role that made him who he is and I believe he's taken so much from being freddy and that's what's made him a great acter.
