2009 through 2014, Hyundai Genesis 4.6, 5.0,5.0 R Spec all of these engines are very fast, beast of V8 engines reliability is a 10. 2015 Genesis 5.0 is very fast and reliabilty is a 10 as well. Love the Genesis brand, and Hyundai. South Korea manufacturers some wonderful Automobiles.

I traded in for another Genesis which is a 2017 Genesis G90 5.0 HTrac which I love reliability is awesome. My 2009 I owned for six years, I was religious on rountine Maintenance. Excellent reliability the whole time, the only major service on these engines which are GDI, Carbon build up. Once that's cleaned it keeps going. People where getting 300k and more on these engines. BMW, Mercedes, Audi can't touch Genesis or Lexus when it comes to reliability going high mileage. Only sedan I am ever driving is a Genesis. G70,G80,G90 or Lexus. I had to choose a German vehicle I like the Porsche 911. Genesis to me is my number 1 Choice. Luxury is awesome!

I have a 2010 Hyundai Genesis 4.6 it is a private lear jet on wheels, tops out at 155 MPH. R Spec 5.0 was even faster to 155. 2015 redesign is awesome, very fast with the V8. Beyond this year Genesis G70, G80, G90 are all beast of luxury.
Hey I just have one question I have the genesis sedan 3.8 2012 and I did a top speed run and it was 135mph did you remove the factory speed limiter? And if so how
I do more hiway than city and my gas gauge usually averages 26 when I'm working on a day shift and have to deal Rush Hour for most of the tank I still get 20-22
@@ItzzShazey no the stock rating for that is 26 miles per gallon on the highway but like I said you can easily yet 29 to 30 if you want to drive 60 miles per hour

I’m picking up the 4.6 same year. How easy was it to put your exhaust on? Or did you do in it the shop?
the stock exhaust I kept, which handles the extra flow fine. I did port the throttle body intake my self, which help the power alot.

If you drive it nice 55 to 60, you will get 29 to 30 miles per gallon with it

Just a big cold air intake the acceleration from 80 to 135 is where I beat a lot of 400 to 450 hp cars

@@gsteel98 Never did but a sema tuner put a 4.6 tau in a coupe that didn't drive. the coupe is like 3x times slower then the sedan stock for stock.
