Sean comes across as such a with-it, together dude. Always has great advice, is interesting to listen to, and above all, a great player! Very inspirational.
Sean is such a great dude, love that guy.
Also .... those podcasts are awesome. I listen to these more than music recently.....
This really hits home for me. My father is a great singer/guitar player. I grew up doing the same thing! Couldn't go to a hang because, I had a gig with the 50+ club LOL. Now I make my living playing bass and couldn't be more grateful.
man, i love these stories.
Just finished listening to the full 2 hour podcast, walked into work and Paper Doll is being played through the system for sound check. Great story Sean, nice work.
Thanks Scott; it's all sinking in slowly : -)
Wow. Great story.
yeah yeah yeah... yeah yeah
That guy…. The music teacher. Did he mention his name, having been such a help to him. ???
y pensar que este fabuloso músico , toco con eros ramazzotti
great interview. Again. ;)
Scott, this is going to sound strange.I have to ask, what is the story behind that little Wooden Chair? The one behind Sean with the Harp shaped back.I have a very similar chair that my Grandmother gave me years ago.
Nice glow in the dark shins!
holy shit I am right next to Westfield
Can you do more slap bass lessons? I just can't figure it out.
+xLittleLady Dolphinx I'd recommend checking his beginner slap lessons out if you haven't already. I'm not an expert in slapping (I main a fretless with flats - ain't nobody got time fo' slappin'; when you can mwaaah fo' days) but this technique requires a great deal of left/right hand synchronisation. Muscle memory is king when it comes to learning any instrument so start slowly and give 110% focus on your technique, for it's better to do something properly once than to fumble it five times. Hope it helps, cheers!
I'm trying to absorb the story, but I keep getting distracted by that sexy P-bass.
lol facts
If God Himself told me I could have any ONE bass on the planet... I’m not so sure I wouldn’t take this P bass. Even more so than the Bass of Doom... it just has “that” sound!!
Bummed that guy didn't play a single note during that video.
+David Rider Check out the latest nobleamps video. Sean plays a lot of great sounding notes. :)
This guy does a lot of talking, hardly any playing
"conversation"
That's how an interview works.
