yeah works fine as well ! The suprise element in this one above is turning my hips so that the opponent takes his chance to sweep me and thats actually my chance of setting the choke!
Nice! But, while switching from under the neck (1) to nearside under hook (2) then to the dare (3), what's stopping your opponent from rolling onto his left side, shrimping away and/or framing?? Because If he accomplishes that, he's got several good options..
good question . When you controlling his near side underhook (flairing my elbow out on his so that he doesnt base )its imposible for fim to frame on his left side on me. He might frame with his right arm on my throat if im not careful but even thoug hhe needs his left elbow to base on the mat in order to turn his body towards mine to perform any sort of escape. Please give it a try on both botoom and top position.
The problem for me is to prevent the opponent from going into a turtle when he makes the turn explosively. Even holding the hip and neck.I have relatively strong short arms so darce is hard I've been trying to work out trying different angles
@@alexcardoso4487 short arms are perfect for marcelotines or ten finger guilotines !what i like to do is to use set ups like darces or anaconda chokes just to make the opponent to react in order to get my guilotines deeper.
@@Eringobragh2024 tru if head not infront north south choke is an option ,you can hit even north sousth choke with the arm in though if you have long arms!
Sorry but, most often when you pull the right shoulder, they're not trying to put the shoulder on the mat, but they'll try to shrimp towards you. But interesting none-theless.
watch my left hand .Shrimping isnt the case as a reaction ..i wil be glad for you ti sent me a video and make an analysis plus in most reactions of the bottom person there is something new that comes up . watch my previous videos on my channel to see what i mean :)

thnak u man ! let me know how it goes!
I have never tried this from side control but I have landed a similar surprise d'arce choke from north-south top position multiple times.

@@chokeeartist its nice you are speaking about yourself
@Mike Genson that’s an idiotic statement. When learning a new technique you always start with a partner who isn’t resisting.

check my left arm blocking his hip and preventig him to fully turn to his knees until i set up the choke

Nice. But it think theres greater possibility to hit this on north south position. Will try 😂
give a try and seynt some feedback ! thank you
Well if you're going for a North South Choke but they have their arm up instead of in, this would be a good submission to go to instead

This is just asking for him to roll out though no? Seems more like a way to bait him into giving his back and then if he doesnt you can move for this.
Indeed You can experiment in reactions there are so many options and set ups for the finish from this position
