    Having each sleeve be a different color really helped differentiate the arms! Love that!

      Very different version of the choke. Interesting. One coach I have told me to just sprawl with hips on ground and new coach says to get on inside hip and triangle his legs. This version is very different. I dont know which one... The sprawl is how I learned it first

    Follow up - I used this set up tonight and caught 2. Great stuff.
    The first time I failed - I basically missed the part at 2:00 where you walk back then shoot the arm through. Dont underestimate how much their initial underhook can shut you down. After I figured it out it worked perfectly.

    Love this instructional. The d'arce from half guard is such a sneaky choke. Everyone is so keen to grab that underhook if you give them the space.

    Thanks, coach Tom for the explanation. As I am a smaller guy I have been having trouble getting my opponent's top arm in the right position, as a result, they are able to defend by creating space. Your tip for closing the gap is just what I have been looking for. Cheers

    Interesting I was only familiar with the version where you lay down over above him pressing his head down rather than here where you press his arm in. Cool. Two different ways to choose from. I'll try it out

    man I need that flip the guy onto his back thing, I had a whizzer on this guy last night who is crazy good at deep half, I can now stop him from getting in deep with the cross face, but then he just comes up the other way for a single while tangling my leg, I'm gonna try this on him next time
