That's really what sucks with the G29 pedals I've now realized. This will work for some time but you need to do it regularly and it just gets tiring. I'd say its worth it to get that mod for the hall sensors or just to get a better pedal set in general
I have the same issue, but with the clutch pedal. My G923 is only 7 months old. I have no idea if I should do this because I am scared to void the warranty.
my pedals arent responding in games and in ghub the brake and the clutch are moving even tho im not pressing them and the and the gas doesnt do anything ! ( i havent broken the pedals or done anything to them they just stopped responding when my wifi went down ) anyone that can help ? i've been trying so many things and nothing helps
my accelerator stay pressed at 70% when i am not in game or in game, do you know how i can fix this problem ? i have logitech g hub. But in game, my car gas when i am not pressing...
If you already cleaned the potentiometer and it did not sort any improvement I think you got two ways: 1- Change the potentiometer with a new one 2 - Swap with the clutch pot
You seem to know your stuff... wondering if you can help me. I have an issue where my brake pedal applies 100% pressure for 2-5 seconds even though my foot isn’t so much as touching it. Any ideas?
When I press the gas pedal and let off, the throttle in game starts to modulate and stays on even though the pedal has fully returned to the resting position. What do you think this is, because it is really pissing me off?
You have to do what the guy did in the video, but the sad part is it doesn’t matter how well you maintain your pedals it will return I give it a 3-4 Weeks it’s because Logitech sells trash products that get messed up easily, it’s very annoying and hell I’m pissed aswell but just gotta cope with it at this point good luck.
my pedals suddenly stopped working and when u plug in the leo bodnar cable into the steering wheel the wheel automatically turns off any idea on how to fix this?
What kind of contact spray did you use? I have one at home but it's very aggressive and I don't want to ruin the potentiometer completely. I have also thought of using compressed air but I don't know if that will be enough to clean out all the dirt an stuff
@@ciakki Thank you so much for the video now the pedals are all good. Sorry for the late reply I couldn't fix them until today but they are working well again and once again thank you!
@@koketsopilane That's a great news! Expect to do it at least every 6 months to keep them in good shape if you use them a lot! click on subscribe if you like ;) Thanks!
My little brother had the same exact problem with his ThrustMaster pedals. Take the bottom of the pedals off and make sure all the cables are plugged into the right place, in his case the slot where the thing that had all the clutch pedals’ wires was plugged into the slot where the brakes’ wires went, and vice versa.
The peoduct is ok, if made it worse probably you need further cleaning. Remember to push the pedal many times after applying the cleaner to spread it and wipe away the dirt. Else the potentiometer has reached the end of his life
im gonna try this out on mine. have you ever had to mess with or replace any wires? i have been playing gta5 story mode modded to use wheel pedals and everything works fine for a bit, and then all of a sudden the pedals will stop working. they just straight up die, but the steering wheel is perfectly fine. sometimes they wont give me full power similar to this video except i get waayyy less power. like it wont pass 25% on any pedal. just flutters there. steering wheel completely fine and always working.
Hey Essa. No, WD40 isn't a contact cleaner it's a water repellent anti-corrosive chemical. It will clean your pot but it will also leave traces of unwanted chemicals on your electronics. Use isopropyl alcohol or specific contact cleaner, they will clean and evaporate without leaving traces or harm electronics.
Thanks. Your video helped my in fix the pedals
That's great! Consider subscribing as reward ;)
Worked perfectly… thanks so much.

That's strange, it's a wear issue and on a relatively new set it shouldn't be present. Go for warranty replacement is my suggestion.
@@ciakki Okay, thanks. I will do that. It’s just a hassle.
@@ciakki Similar issue with my brake pedal. Two weeks old.

What do I do if my pedals aren't connecting to the g hub
Clutch pedal not working. X button on display not working. Everything else does tho. Why?

99% of the time its because of the potenciometers, from my experience cleaning them ( like on this vid ) once or twice a month does the job :)

What allen key size is that?
3/12
They have a WD-40 specialist contact cleaner would that work? If not what brand specially should i buy
That’s what I bought I think my pedals our broke in a different way my brake pedal flickers at like 5% it didn’t work tho it only made it worse
my pedals suddenly stopped working and when u plug in the leo bodnar cable into the steering wheel the wheel automatically turns off any idea on how to fix this?
Probably a damaged cable with a short circuit. Inspect the cable for wrinkles or damage
@@ciakki can i repair it at home or should i take it to someone who knows how to fix it
@@samnichon5321 Did you inspected it? Did you found any damage?

isopropyl alcohol
my problem was the cable, i remplace it and now it works perfect
Why In some videos people dismounts the entire potentiometer but in yours you only use that spray?
I've maintained this way my g29 pedals since 3 years ago without any need of dismount the potentiometers completely
I am having the same problem, I have bought a contact cleaner and will clean them later today will tell you how it went.
Cool! Let me know if you fix it, because if you are not 100% succesful there is another trick to deal with the problem
Did you fix it?

For some reason sometimes when I press the clutch pedal it acts like a brake pedal😂 any idea on how to fix that?
Probably there's a pinched cable, check all the length of the cable if there are wrinkles or bad spots.

My clutch and brakes works together instead of separately do u know how to fix?
They just mirror each other or when you press one the other moves a little?
Go to logitech g hub
I used wd40 electronics cleaner is that okay? It said it was contact cleaner to I tried and it made it worse tho

Sometimes the problem is the potentiometer moves lil bit clock/anticlockwise so a glue gun is best answer to lock the position
