This perfect! I literally DM’d you on Facebook asking for this to solve for OEM equipment sound fall off when any amount of bass is present. Appreciate this!
Thank you for teaching me countless hours of car stereo installation techniques. I have all your shows don't know how many hrs it was, but def more than a whole days worth
I'm only 10yrs deep into car audio, been installing professionally for 8 and ever since I got into audio my piece of dream gear has always been a Salt 12k amp. I love that they do rated at 12v. I'll have one someday.
Salt amps look so good to, plain but good looking. Was planning on doing a full sundown salt build, I found an amp that worked, but I couldn’t find a 4 channel that worked with my components🤷🏽♂️ I went with the newer Euphoria amps made by DB Drive, XM2000.1 and fx125.4 and FM75.4
Very cool build and enjoy the step by step videos. I could never spend $4k for a vehicle like this but I would be interested to see how a $1k setup would compare.
Nice! My dream piece of gear is the Audiocontrol D-6.1200 amplifier. Saving my pennies!! I really enjoy your videos showing how you create your custom sub enclosures. Love your channel Brother!
My dream piece of car audio is that exact amp you’re using I would love to own it, but because I am a husband of a children it’s not even budgetable lol. Whoever owns the vehicle that this equipment is going in, I can assure you they’re going to enjoy it.
I'll answer both questions, what I've always wanted to own was (2) 12 or 13w7's. What I've had before that I really loved was (2) DD audio 9510s running on an Autotek MX-5000 amp.
Since I was starting mi project i was dreaming of a true SQL experience, now I can say that I have it, two sets of B² Riot 8p , one set of B² rage 10p, one set of Mobass MBT-8 (for both of my doors) and for the pillars i went for a set of Micro Precision 5.28 mk3 tweeters and a set of Blam Multix ms3 (in the near future). Two 15 inch subs in the back and te system sounds great, loud and crystal claear. (The amps: 2x B² Mani 600.4 , 1xB² rage 1000.4Mi , 1x B² Riot 3200).
I think I achieved my audio dream years ago when I installed a full alpine type x system in my golf. I'm actually in the process of digging all of the speakers and amps out of the loft and fitting them in my current daily driver. A Citroen c3 picasso 😂. I suspect I'll have a lot of rattles to chase when it's all installed...🤔
My dream build would be a stealth subwoofer system like you built, to give me full access to my trunk still and have my amp rack and subwoofer still hidden underneath everything, I’d love to have something like that
This is basically the exact setup I'm looking to put into a new Hyundai Kona. How much difference does the Fix86 make in the end? I had originally planned on running a high level signal from the factory head unit to the VXi.
Wanna see that running. Those subs are beautiful. I have a full gladen/mosconi and i'm super satisfied with them. Nice video Mark. Complements from Portugal.
Dream subwoofer - JBL W12 GTI MK2.. I had one of these in my first Jetta. Absolutely amazing set up in that car but no usable trunk space and as I've moved into a hatchback and need the space I sold that massive sub to my friend. I've been chasing the high ever since 😂 Dream equipment currently - ARC audio blackbird DSP amp
These are great videos mark. Enjoying the JL audio content. I would like to see how you get the power wire through the firewall for a Hyundai though. They almost never have grommet space by the stock electrical for a 1 or 2awg thick wire, or an easy spot to drill because of what is on the other side of the firewall!. Thanks and keep up the excellent work!
Dream gear: Zapco Studio 500 and couple of a/d/s P 40.2 2channel amplifiers. Boston Acoustics Pro series 6.4Pro component set and 5.4 Pro component set.
Love your videos. Seems like I learn something new with every one I watch. I would love to hear a sample of that build once it's complete. My dream piece of equipment is a JL HD900/5 amp or Audio Control D-5.1300 dsp amp. I'm running Hertz Mille Pro 2 way in the front, Hertz Cento coax in the rear door and a single 12TW3 in a sealed custom enclosure. All powered with a JL Rd900/5. Also running LC7i and wav tech bass restore. Sounds great but could sound better.
Back in the day, I wanted the Zapco 18 band equalizer. But I have realized that the 18 band eq is not needed now since my deck has all the adjustments I need for my simple system.
Very nice. For my 23 Tacoma. Audiofrog GB series 3 way front CS coaxial rear 8 or 10” sun in factory location HU TBD. If i can keep the factory i will if not Kenwood exelon . A bit higher end. But the car is a long time keeper JL 800/8 and JL1000/5
My dream build involves me getting a couple kicker l7 solo x's. Wanna start small and see if I can fit 3 of the ten inch subs in my Freightliner when they come out later this year.
I had my dream gear at one point, then my car got broken into and it was all stolen… Soundstream reference 10.0 and Picasso… AC 3xs, Soundstream SPL main speakers and a trio of JL Audio 10w6’s… that was my favorite system ever.
I have been lucky enough to have scooped up some of my dream JL equipment. A set of slash v1 amps and a 12w7. I haven't been able to put them to use though 🤦🏻♂️
Probably the Morel Morel Supremo 602 paired up with some McIntosh equipment. There is too many things to list here. I’d probably walk into a high end car audio place and see something else I like. The Pioneer DEX-P99RS is a sweet deck. Probably going to go with that deck once I find one.
Man I would love something like this in my new RAV4 Hybrid XSE. I've looked at the T-cable and AudioControl amp with built-in DSP. However, I am super hesitant because of the Hybrid drive system, battery, and computer logic. I'd love to see a build for a hybrid, and what considerations are necessary.
So just recently finished with my 2016 tundra sound system and was wondering what y'all would rate it and if anyone had any recommendations for what I should upgrade in the future it's my first audio build for head unit I got the Sony xav-9500es JBL club 322f for the 3 dash speakers for front door I have JBL club 9632 for the sail panels I have club 3412t and for back doors I have jbl club 625sq and same club 3412t for tweeters on back door behind the rear seats I have 2 JBL club ws1000 powered by JBL club a600 the speakers are powered by audison prima ap4 d and all the doors have sound deadening.
What model subwoofers are those? How would the 10" compare to Focal Access 8" subwoofers? I have that currently in my Tundra, and they sound amazing, but I want 10" and a little more ummff.
Is the Fix 86 necessary if you’re already using an amp/dsp? Is there something more economical to clean the factory signal but doesn’t have a dsp also?
I wanna setup two 15inch subs in a isobaric configuration cause I want it in my hatch but would prefer a shallow mount 15s but no idea what it would sound like.l or even if they exist. I like low heavy bass and the power to taper off at higher frequencies cause 12s always hurt my ears when loud where as loud low frequency sounds nice and not thumpy.
@CarAudioFabrication is there a follow up video to this showing the install of the system and and a sound performance demonstration? After watching this surfed your channel in hopes there was such a video but haven't found any follow up to this video. Would love to have seen such a video!
One question... As there is an audio processor (DSP) inside the amplifier, I assume you will use the active (digital) crossover that is inside the DSP. So you won't install the physical/passive crossovers? Or even if there is a digital crossover (which is inside the DSP) are you "obliged" to install passive/physical crossovers? I think this: if there is a digital (active) crossover and I don't need to use the passive (physical) crossovers that come with the speakers... Am I right or wrong?
Nice set up. I’d like to do something almost identical but only one sub in existing factory location. Question, when tuning and doing time alignment, will it be good (or at least good enough) to run the c2-600’s passive with the included crossover? Or would it be that much better running them active? I’ve heard that when running active, there are harmonics from a lot of lower frequency sounds that the tweeters play, and if they don't play those harmonics at the right time the image can be ruined.
I have the jl audio c1-690x 2-way coaxial speakers running in all 4 doors of my car on a mephis street edge se1200.4 and it sounds great, i just wish the amp didnt get so hot in my trunk. I dont have any better or more open way to go about it
My dream piece is an Audison bit dmi to complete my setup. I’m planning to complete my system, which i expect is going to be pretty complicated. I plan on doing an active setup in my ‘15 Audi A7. Excluding the smaller things. I current have everything listed. 8 channel VXI 6 channel VXI 6.5” 3-way components for fronts 6.5 2-way components for rears Already have 13w7 installed. Have you done any videos interface explaining interfaces and MOST fiber optics connections and etc.?
Not to terribly complicated for me….Been loving high end car audio most of my adult lifetime…not going to give away years….but in dash DVD was Revolutionary!!!…..I had one of the first Alpine in dash DVD available….prior to public sale….YES…I’m old…I know….Strangely though….my dream component that I’m finally going to get is a true high quality DSP for my wife’s new build up in her F-250 SD….I know….seems lame….but have never had one….
Recently bought a 06 Chevy Tahoe with bose system. Too far not to bad but not the best either. Thinking on upgrading but not sure what route to go. Already has a decent head unit, but I am stuck on wether just upgrading speakers all around or adding an aftermarket 5 channel amp along the new/upgrade speakers. Please help
Liking carthan home audio. As the difference is 4 ohmsthan 8 ohms, it's clear that I like lesser and lesser ohms(more resistance). As we like orchestras where lesser 1 ohm load or even lower ohms in vogue, guide me in this. And also in controlling THD and heat issues. Many small speakers in lesser volume and in k-watts!? In a nutshell, lower ohms, k-watts, less THD, less heating, many tiny speakers and lower volume!?
I have a pair of the same C2 speakers here in my house. I had a sound system in a previous car where i used them... as rear speakers. Front speakers were from another league... But now it´s all gathering dust... 😢 Can´t find anyone to install it in my Corolla...
So I literally can't find any non biased opinions on bavsounds plug and play kit. Figured I'd ask someone thats more in tune with the car audio community than myself for some advice, is the plug and play feature worth it because bmw speakers are strange or is I better to try and figure something eles out?
Dude really want you to hook my 2020 Tacoma up. I normally do it my self but I want a dialed in system is there a place in Southern California you recommend to go to.
Hello Mark, nice system you have here, I have a question on the Fix processor, I've bought a 82 version. So as it fixes the signal at one precise volume, what happens if you use your car knob or steering wheel controls? As I understand if the car have an EQ but static one all good but if it is having volume-dependent correction it will be a trouble. Gotta use the DSP drc or buy and use the Fix drc. Can you confirm if you have a minute? :) Thank you so much, love your content!
If you have a factory system that has dynamic EQ where it changes with volume you want to leave the system volume at the same level and control your system volume via a controller connected to the amps or DSP.
can i put the TW3-12inch shallow mount woofers in a Ported Subwoofer Box Sub Enclosure for 2 12" Orion HCCA HCCA-12 Subs ~ BIRCH ~? (I have a orion hcca 12inch sub box, and i would like to change over to jl auido)
What a beautiful build, i actually have something very similar in my car.. JL C5-650 components JL C5-650X Coaxial JL 12W6V3 Sub JL Fix86 JL HD 600/4 amp JL HD 750/1 amp D3400 powercell battery all while keeping factory head unit I Loveee it but been having a slight problem with the volume shifting from left to right and sometimes back to front. been trying to figure it out, wish you can help 🙏
That looks very impressive - might be overkill on the sub for me. Unfortunately for me Crutchfield hasn't researched the Camry or the Crown - too bad, I hear Toyota sells pretty well in some parts of the world.
I would really like to see a test on a 10+ Year old Economy car with a completely stock system that is in good working condition Where you test the sound as it is and then Take it all apart and properly dynamat the whole car put the stock equipment Back and Test the sound
Unfortunately you can't really hear how a system sounds through a video, you are hearing your system you are playing the video on. But I usually do a "sound test" as part of these projects.

Dude you said there's nothing like the smell of a new set of woofers,, That's freaking dope ..
The only thing better than the smell of new subs is the smell of new voice coils breaking in.
This perfect! I literally DM’d you on Facebook asking for this to solve for OEM equipment sound fall off when any amount of bass is present. Appreciate this!

1k You're Looking At Just One Of These Subs. Cost $1300 For My Camaro But I Had To Buy An Additional Output Converter
Right even $1,500 is good for me. Basically 4k is way above what most people can afford.
$1500-2k you can do very well. Especially properly tuned.
I agree let’s see systems for 1k-2k
One of the biggest cost is labor. Installers of his caliber is very expensive to do everything right and correctly
9:00 True Bass Head 🤣 I fully agree 😎
Nice! My dream piece of gear is the Audiocontrol D-6.1200 amplifier.
Saving my pennies!!
I really enjoy your videos showing how you create
your custom sub enclosures. Love your channel Brother!
Great choice! Thanks for tuning in and watching, appreciate you!
FINALLY SOMEONE GETS IT!
Thank you Thank you Thank you
This set up right here... is what I want in my 2014 Civic Si...

Working on it for my 2081 Tacoma I have the Blam 160 p's and Audison sub.Looking at Kenwood radios now. Piece by piece and then I'll love my truck.
🎉 this is the same set up I wanted since last year!!!
Dream gear: A set of original Soundstream Human Reign amplifiers.
Were those the crazy skeleton looking ones?
Yupppp
Hell yeah, that would be cool
@@CarAudioFabricationyes the ones with the face on them. Very unique.
Nice! I remember those.
Love your videos, I’ve learned so much from you. Your enclosure building skills are next level, that’s the one part I wish I could do
My dream build would be a stealth subwoofer system like you built, to give me full access to my trunk still and have my amp rack and subwoofer still hidden underneath everything, I’d love to have something like that
Orion SCCA powered audio! Don’t hear much from Orion these days however they are still in business. Love the content!

great premier build, my dream build would be 2 sets of Morel Elate Carbon Pro 63A, and a JL Audio CP210-W0v3
Dream Gear: 1 6k watt sub and the associated power. The highest I've ever owned was about 3k (pushing to the red zone).
Love your videos. Seems like I learn something new with every one I watch. I would love to hear a sample of that build once it's complete. Dream setup: active 3 way audio. Just bought my dream car, 2012 Acura TL I wanna do so much but wife and I are saving for a house first
Very nice. For my 23 Tacoma.
Audiofrog GB series 3 way front
CS coaxial rear
8 or 10” sun in factory location
HU TBD. If i can keep the factory i will if not Kenwood exelon .
A bit higher end. But the car is a long time keeper
JL 800/8 and JL1000/5
Sounds fun! Thanks for watching!
My dream build involves me getting a couple kicker l7 solo x's. Wanna start small and see if I can fit 3 of the ten inch subs in my Freightliner when they come out later this year.
Dream subwoofer is two 13W7AE-D1.5 ❤
Dream gear: audio control dm810 and I finally got one recently! I also wanted a large screen head unit and now I have an alpine halo 11
I had my dream gear at one point, then my car got broken into and it was all stolen…
Soundstream reference 10.0 and Picasso… AC 3xs, Soundstream SPL main speakers and a trio of JL Audio 10w6’s… that was my favorite system ever.
Man this is scary and unfortunate to hear. Hope my custom pillars with focals wont motivate some thief one day...
Great video as always
I used two of the pac t harness love it!!!
I have a few dream car audio items
Sub - JL AE 13W7 , Splits Morel Ultimo's 3 way, Amps Audison Lxr's and Audison processing
I’ve always liked Alpine, so I guess my dream system would be the Alpine F1 Status system.
I have been lucky enough to have scooped up some of my dream JL equipment. A set of slash v1 amps and a 12w7. I haven't been able to put them to use though 🤦🏻♂️
the one that i hope 2 achieve is a monoblock
Probably the Morel Morel Supremo 602 paired up with some McIntosh equipment. There is too many things to list here. I’d probably walk into a high end car audio place and see something else I like. The Pioneer DEX-P99RS is a sweet deck. Probably going to go with that deck once I find one.
You have a dsp ! Why you take a passive crossouwer?
What speakers would you have chosen?
Wish you could do a system for my 21 accord,,, the kicker key amps aren't cuttin it!
Man I would love something like this in my new RAV4 Hybrid XSE. I've looked at the T-cable and AudioControl amp with built-in DSP. However, I am super hesitant because of the Hybrid drive system, battery, and computer logic. I'd love to see a build for a hybrid, and what considerations are necessary.
just get a second battery and connect it to the alternator
Cool 😎 I want to do that with my crv!
would love to own an old alpine cassette or cd head unit. ultimate early-mid 90s stuff. or a KC999!
Is it more cost effective to go with one amp that meets your needs rather than an amp for each purpose? I always used a separate amp for the subs.
Is there any updates on this build been waiting on it for a while want to see the outcome
I like graphic equalizers. Presently, I use computer's! How about separate power systems for each amplification channel in power amplifiers!?
Excellent series, just curious what a shop would roughly charge for this exact build?
Awesome.
Any video recommendations, or not, of any under seat subs?
Enought dsp channels
The hi-rez equipment is interesting also
Nice set up.
8 channel VXI
6 channel VXI
6.5” 3-way components for fronts
6.5 2-way components for rears
Already have 13w7 installed.
So I am getting the vx1000/5i and two 12tw3. Should I get the fix 86 too?
Awesome videos as always!
Do you know why my DSP “explodes” when turn on? And how to solve it??
If using a PAC AMP ProCH41R2 using fiber, would you need the FIX OEM Integration DSP to a VXI DSP amp?
What about the battery? Do you have to upgrade the stock with a better one for optimal subwoofer performance?
Hey I am looking at a Jl audio part number 93133 what’s your thoughts on them ?
Recently bought a 06 Chevy Tahoe with bose system. Too far not to bad but not the best either. Thinking on upgrading but not sure what route to go. Already has a decent head unit, but I am stuck on wether just upgrading speakers all around or adding an aftermarket 5 channel amp along the new/upgrade speakers. Please help
I recognise that T harness, I’ve just installed a system into my Hyundai i30n 👀

Love Jl, But they really need to update their dsp. Not having a Input Eq and no all pass filters kills it for me.
my dream peice of gear would be a pair of JL W7s
Which size? I'd love to try four 8W7's, I think it would be a cool compact enclosure.
I have a pair of the same C2 speakers here in my house. I had a sound system in a previous car where i used them... as rear speakers. Front speakers were from another league... But now it´s all gathering dust... 😢 Can´t find anyone to install it in my Corolla...
you should do a system up to 1500 dolares.
love your videos lad !
We've covered a ton of low budget projects here on the channel
Hi ...what happens if the sub is 10 000w peak and 650rms and the amplifier is 8000w and 700rms ....can u explain this plz
I thought your speaker RMS had to be higher than the amp RMS per channel? 75 watt RMS per channel but speakers are 50-60 RMS?
So I literally can't find any non biased opinions on bavsounds plug and play kit. Figured I'd ask someone thats more in tune with the car audio community than myself for some advice, is the plug and play feature worth it because bmw speakers are strange or is I better to try and figure something eles out?

As I understand if the car have an EQ but static one all good but if it is having volume-dependent correction it will be a trouble. Gotta use the DSP drc or buy and use the Fix drc. Can you confirm if you have a minute? :) Thank you so much, love your content!
If you have a factory system that has dynamic EQ where it changes with volume you want to leave the system volume at the same level and control your system volume via a controller connected to the amps or DSP.
@@CarAudioFabrication Thanks man!
I feel like if you're running their flagship DSP amp you shouldn't need a fix 86, it should be able to do it for you.

I’m wondering the same thing.
can i put the TW3-12inch shallow mount woofers in a Ported Subwoofer Box Sub Enclosure for 2 12" Orion HCCA HCCA-12 Subs ~ BIRCH ~? (I have a orion hcca 12inch sub box, and i would like to change over to jl auido)
What a beautiful build, i actually have something very similar in my car..
JL C5-650 components
JL C5-650X Coaxial
JL 12W6V3 Sub
JL Fix86
JL HD 600/4 amp
JL HD 750/1 amp
D3400 powercell battery
all while keeping factory head unit
I Loveee it but been having a slight problem with the volume shifting from left to right and sometimes back to front. been trying to figure it out, wish you can help 🙏
That looks very impressive - might be overkill on the sub for me. Unfortunately for me Crutchfield hasn't researched the Camry or the Crown - too bad, I hear Toyota sells pretty well in some parts of the world.

JL 8 inch have an even smaller cubic foot requirement.
Can I connect 2 speakers & 1 subwoofer to a 2 channel amp?!
Technically you can, but it would be better to do a 3 channel amplifier.
@CarAudioFabrication thank you 👌👌
I'm guessing he is putting this in a miata
Can you do an OVERALL dream setup.!!!
Like as a build? Hmmmm
Nice

hi Mark, i would like a dps sometime
I would really like to see a test on a 10+ Year old Economy car with a completely stock system that is in good working condition Where you test the sound as it is and then Take it all apart and properly dynamat the whole car put the stock equipment Back and Test the sound
This setup
Why does the JL audio symbol look like an Atari symbol
do you have videos of ur finished build car audio setup?i want to hear ur works thanks
Unfortunately you can't really hear how a system sounds through a video, you are hearing your system you are playing the video on. But I usually do a "sound test" as part of these projects.
