xotic marvel reptiles Someday hahah once we have a house Ill be building larger ones for the big animals. Ive decided that im just going to pay someone else to do enclosures for the smaller animals because that long building process was too exhausting and id rather throw some money at the problem and make it not my problem 😂

Thank you so much! I found them in a uro group on fb! they basically just took a 4x8 piece of wood and divided it into a top, bottom, and two sides plus the two long skinny pieces for the front:)

Aww thank you so much! I actually have a video explaining it! if you go to my playlists, i have one dedicated to all my iguana videos and its in there! I also have a semi step by step blog post about it and the link to my blog is in the description of just about every video! :) We built it so it could transport to and from college with me. Now that im done, he’ll be getting something more permanent once we buy a house :)

Thank you!!!! I knew I wanted something fun and not just a command hook or something and then I was like hmm pop sockets have little handles and they can be bought pretty cheap... PERFECT 😂

Caughtafaygo _ Grateful he knew what he was doing, because I sure didnt Lol and funny thing is half way through I think we were both over it and how long it was taking and he told me not to get any ideas and that we were not going to start making them to sell because its too much work.... deff have a much higher appreciation now for those that build to sell ... and I now completely understand why enclosures cost what they do 😂🤣🤣
Wait did you just stack the other enclosures on the light cords I’m planning on making one and that’s been my biggest problems
We created a groove in the wood on top of the enclosures for the wires to sit in so they wouldnt get pinched and the enclosures would sit flat! I forgot to record that part :)

If you were using these for a snake enclosure, how would you close the holes for the lightings wires?
My pvc enclosures I have for my snakes have holes that go out the upper back that are small enough that only the wires can fit through. if you arent wiring your own lights, you’ll have to install the lighting before attaching the sides and top of the enclosure. For these enclosures and putting a hole through the roof, any exposed lighting in an enclosure with a snake or animal that can access the lights should have bulb guards around it which attaches to the ceiling, so they wouldnt be able to access the hole, wires, and fixture :)

In a uromastyx group on facebook! Essentially you just take a 4x8 sheet of wood and divide it into the top, bottom, back, and two sides, and then cut thin pieces for the top and bottom of the front. Everything else my dad and I came up with and decided on :)
Would love to know where you purchased some of your products? track for doors and acrylic?
I forgot I wanted to make a list and lay out the costs in this video, so ill be making another video. To answer your Qs tho, tracks came from amazon amd acrylic from home depot :)

I painted the enclosures with several layers of drylock :)

Hey ZA my colombian rainbow boa has a bad stuck shed how should I go about it? Also love your vids.
I prefer to give my snakes a nice soak when they have a stuck shed. usually the shed just slips right off afterwards with a little assistance

I thought you would at least have instructions or where to get materials
I showed our step by step process and showed what materials were used. Everything can be bought at home depot. The only thing I got online were tracks from amazon. I followed a blue print I got online and alterted it to fit what I wanted. What I wanted might not work for someone else depending on their end goals, so I showed the jist of it. Im also not handy and my dad built them and I just assisted when needed, so it would be hard for me to explain in detail what to do. This video was more so meant to show what we did to help inspire ideas in others. I will be making a seperate video to outline the overall cost, which will go through all the materials

Thank you! I actually wanted to tally it up and put it in this video but I forgot! Ill have to sit down and remember everything I bought and do the math lol! I planned on doing another short video just for that so stay tuned!😁 It was alot cheaper than buying one already made, but my credit card doesnt feel like jt 😂🤣🤣

ZA Reptiles Nice! They’ll all gonna love it and I commend you for being able to give them great sized enclosures with the limited space you have. I feel like most people wouldn’t be willing to do that. So definitely great job!
StephenXplodes thank you so much! It’s definitely starting to feel alittle cramped, but in a good way! I love nothing more than giving my animals upgrades! Im still have 5 more upgrades in the works before im out if space and have to call it quits until we buy a house 😂
