    Yes, I love how you made this beautiful seating area, literally made or built everything! Well done you! Great job!
    I've been wanting to work on a seating area in the backyard corner area too, and I've been trying to figure out a good canopy diy... I'll have to remember how you bought Reed fencing(?) for that... I never knew what those were called but I've always loved how rustic yet beach vibey outdoorsy they look and make u feel.
    Glad I found ya!
    TFS! ❤❤
    Take care 👍👍

    I love this idea! How does it hold up against light rain? Does it give any protection against it? Just thinking for when a sudden shower comes and I don’t want to run in and out with my cushions all day 😂

      @handmadehome  5 месяцев назад

      Hi, it does hold back a drizzle but full, heavy rain will come through.Maybe if you layer another piece of reed on top it will stop it. It survived 3 winter storms so I'm pretty impressed with the gazebo :D

    Wow!! What a great job - I actually bought this but I was thinking...I need to put it into slabs, like you did....so it kinda put me off doing it....but now you've inspired me to do it - thanks so much!! Totally subbed!!!!
    PS - would you mind telling - what kind of screws or whatever did you use? thanks a million! 🥰

      That’s great! I just used a large wall plug and the sized screws that go with them. Anything over 8cm will do.
      Did you use the gazebos tent roof or did you hack yours too?

  • @ItaintmeCCC

    Wow amazing! Did you attach the roof to the frame yourself? I want to buy this but not sure if i can attach the room myself.

    • @handmadehome

      thanks!! Yes I attached the reed roof to the frame, this is very easy I just cable tied it on. You can see this at 04:30
      For sure you can to this too! :)

    Hello... did you put the top gazebo piece up by yourself?

    • @handmadehome
      @handmadehome  3 месяца назад

      Hi, the last step in the gazebo build is a two person job so I had some help with that. But if you mean the reed roof then yes I put that up myself

    ermm what if it rains ?

    • @handmadehome
      @handmadehome  Год назад +1

      I’ll go inside 😄 I build it as a sun shade not to be able to sit outside in the rain. So far it’s been in two storms and the roof didn’t shed any reeds. I recon it will last me two or so years before I need to replace the roof.
