  • Heyyy, welcome back to my channel!
I have to first say I had this video on my channel for a few weeks now but I kept it as private because I wasn't sure if I wanted to release this video since I made this invitation before with a different color. In the video, I mention this SVG file is for sale, however, since I did make this invitation before and I'm giving the file for free, this file will be free as well. What you are paying for is the Envelope SVG and the backing card files. Just email as normal and be sure to let me know which video file you're interested in.
In this video, I will show you how to make another Laser Cut Pocket Fold Invitation. I created this for an upcoming styled shoot. If you don't know what a styled shoot is, watch this video • How to get FREE Profes... to learn more about styled shoots and how to get FREE professional photos for your Wedding business.
To make this video you will need...
    Paper Trimmer
    Scissors
    Ribbon
2 sheets of cardstock in one color (NOT FROM PAPERSOURCE.COM, YOU'LL SEE WHY IN THE VIDEO)
1 sheet of cardstock in another color for the backing card
1 sheet of white cardstock for the invitation wording and RSVP Card.
Please remember to leave a space between the edge of the cardstock and the edge of your flap so it doesn't pop when you fold it over.
If you would like to purchase this set for $5, please email me with your Cashapp or Venmo and I will send you a link and then email the file back to you once your payment is received. This set includes the Pocketfold, 4.75x6.75 Backing Card, 4.50x6.50 Invitation Card, Envelope Liner and Envelope (all SVG files to use on your Cricut or Cameo)

Nice video thanks for sharing. I would love to see a video of how wording on an invitation is done the different styles you can use like if you don't want to give out to much information or if you don't want to use the bride and groom names how would you write up the wording for that invitation.

Hi, the card stock was horrible. I don’t think anything with the cameo would have made a difference because of the paper.

Hello I just found your channel a few days ago and I am really enjoying your project. I to want to learn how to make invitations I’m attempting yes attempting to make my grandson Fiancé wedding invitations she wanted a gatefold with a gate design I found a feed that I purchase online and try to cut it out with my silhouette num 3 and it is tearing my card designs I was hoping maybe you can help me with what I am supposed to put the numbers at the designs is very intricate and that part of the designs is what is giving me the problem really in all honesty I don’t know what I am doing with this machine I am almost 65 years old and I have had my machine for years I started with the original and still have it don’t really know what I am doing I have destroyed so much paper and I just don’t want to give up like I normally do can you tell me what you put your control button on please thank you

Hi Roberta, first thing is don’t give up! Those Cameos cost money, don’t let it go to waste. What type of paper are you using? How many pounds (thickness) is your Cardstock? I use 110lb for all of my designs so my cut settings are Blade 7, Force 33, and Speed 1. If you’re using 80lb Cardstock, you would use a setting of Blade 3, Force 30, Speed 4. If you’re using paper from Paper Source, your Cameo will eat it up. Their Cardstock does not hold up on the standard settings. Let me know what type of Cardstock you’re using or where you purchased it from and I’ll be able to give you more accurate info. Also, for more intricate designs, it’s always best to use a new blade and don’t remove your paper from the mat, remove your mat from the paper.

@@ROBERTALOLLIS Hey Roberta! I always use Cards and Pockets and Cardstock Warehouse. I recently tried using cardstock from Paper Source because they have a lot of locations around my city. Unfortunately, their paper is not really made for cutting machines as I does tear. I had to keep testing sheets of cardstock and changing my settings. I would say start with one sheet of cardstock and keep changing the settings to find what works for you.
