When I worked for walmart i saw that they discounted 2 unsold golf club sets down to $25 when the season was over and i put them online right away for $100 firm and I had an offer 2 days after posting them if they brought both sets if i would take $180. Sure, took the money and ran. They had twin girls and didn't want to shell out too much money if they decided they didn't like that sport so it worked good for both of us. I thought that was a good flip on a new boxed item, $130 in 2 days. Only thing i miss about not working 3rd shift at the store, i miss all the end of season deals I went home with. i was good at dropping my paycheck back to the store.
The best way to deal with bigger and clunkier stuff is to have boxes ready at your storage unit, take the pictures of the doll, put the doll in the box wrapped in bubble wrap that will insure the doll is safe and not moving around, already packed ready to ship when it sells, you do it all in one shot.
