Some foreigners have no respect for people and their belongings, they've probably stole from that stall before and others.

Get yourself a cheap multimeter to carry with you so you can at least check for ohms across inputs
It's not a 100% test but would rule out totally blown speakers

When we sell clothes on a rail, we have a rule to remove the hanger, so there are no loose hangers on the rail. Multiple times, we would find 1 or 2 hangers with no clothes. I've had football shirts unaccounted for and my wife has had dresses. Bootfairs are full of these types now, and the ones who do pay are rude with their haggling. It's a shame.
Cheeky buggers, I was mowing my lawn and stopped to go to the loo, I went back out and a guy was walking off with my mower, I went after him and he said he thought it was scrap, I mean, who leaves their mower plugged into a extension cable if it's scrap.

I used to work in a sports shop called Olympus Sports many years ago and every weekend the store Alarm just went Off all day long especially when it was super rammed. At times I couldn't even move through the store easily because it got so busy.

Well done John ,i used to work in a charity shop and we were not allowed to confront shoplifters but i did , ok he was a little bloke but i still took everything off him ,someone pointed out to me that he was a shoplifter so i stood beside him making myself obvious and he just continued putting things in his pocket, so i grabbed hold of him and said either pay at the till now or give me all the stuff in your pockets ,which he did and i followed him out of the shop and down the shopping precinct and stopped him going into every shop ,when i got back to the shop everyone clapped me then i got a bollocking off the boss .Again well done John i feel honest people have had enough now and will try to step in more

Nice one, hate it, often here stall holders discussing ow someones just walked off with something. I'd do the same mate if I ever actually saw it. Had to speak to a guy this week going in a ladies carboot while she was unpacking round the side. Some people forget their manners and then are those that just prey on people. Big bucks on the Bollywood, nice find by the way.

I had a family of Romanians stealing off my stall not long ago. They had it all planned out, blocking my view with a couple of them & the ones at the back grabbing stuff & walking off. I knew what they were upto & got all the stuff back. These people are bottom feeding freeloaders that offer nothing to this country.
